Liz Smith, best known for her role as Nanna in the Royle Family has died, now

I'm betting pretty much any celebrity will be bricking it for the next 5 days.

People who talk about the "curse of 2016" are going to be in for disappointment.

Celebrities aren't going to stop dying in 2017.

No, celebrities are not gonna stop dying in 2017 but I doubt there will be as many as 2016.

2016 is a real killah, it needs to arrested and put away for 100 years, 'anging int good enough for 2016, lock it up and throw away the key.

Some of the people who have died were not even that old, Caroline Aherne, Victoria Wood, Pete Burns, Bowie, Prince, George Michael. All in their fiftys.

Our Mum died at 70, from Ischaemia (of the colon) and Arteriosclerosis after a lifetime of smoking.

Although an atheist, she wanted to be buried in the local church and the Vicar asked if he could come round and explain / discuss the details.

Very nice man and made all the right comforting noises.

But strangely he also said that 70 was no age at all and she was taken before her time.

Which is true and not true at the same time. Bit surreal.
