I love:
flowers, wild flowers (and weeds) in hedgerows and verges, most especially spring wild flowers like violets, primroses and whole vistas of bluebells they make my heart sing.

the sky, it always changes you could sit and photograph it every day and it would be different.

driving above the clouds; where i live you can drive on the tops of the fell and often the layer of cloud is floating below you, it looks magical, like something from a fairy tale.

butterflies and bees. one very hot sleepy day, a bee once let me stroke it i felt like a bee whisperer

when someone, anyone, makes a cup of tea that is perfect.

ice cold water on a hot day.

that weird deafening silence when you have read the last line of a wonderful book.

a proper french baguette with unsalted butter.

the exquisite feeling when you hear a piece of music that feels like it is part of your soul.

japanese woodcuts from the 1700s

the paintings of Turner

the light in Vermeer paintings

Back cello suite No 1 in G, prelude

live music

experiencing something funny/beautiful and turning to a friend and knowing by looking in their eyes no words are needed to express your joy.

making someone laugh out loud.

Listening to someone talk about whatever they are passionate about.

that moment when you get into bed and your body melts into the bed.

cheese

this list could go on forever....

eta the post below this reminded me my vintage Conway Stewart fountain pen it makes writing a joy

Hmm let's see- I would say I LOVE a Gleek, because I am one, but I hate myself, so does that mean I hate a Gleek...?

I love your list.......................but the butter must always be salted.

I should have added walking with the dog with no time constraints so we can explore and get lost. Last time we did that we were at a forest we had been to a million times but we went very off course and happened upon the most beautiful clearing which felt like it was in another world. Never knew it existed but it's one of my favourite places to go now. So beautiful and peaceful and a little eerie.

Thanks wee tinkers although we disagree on our butter

Oh yes I totally agree with you about walks with not time constraint, not just in the woods or on the fells, but on empty beaches, beach combing: looking at all the shells and stones, looking for crystals!
