John Middleton should not just be nominated but win - but I doubt he'll even be nominated.

I'd love to see June Brown nominated for her recent work. Her reactions to her sacking and sight loss were so emotional.

Lacey Turner and John Middleton will be nominated I expect for their postpartum psychosis and dementia storylines respectively. One person I think should be nominated (but doubt they will and doubt they'd win) is Lin Blakely who played Pam Coker. Her performances in the aftermath of Paul's death were outstanding and if I'm perfectly honest she carried a lot of EE during the initial producer transition period in August/September during the trial storyline. Steve McFadden and Danny Miller could be in with a chance too.

Hopefully John Middleton - he's been great.

Given the voting period for the longlist was way back in October - I would doubt that John Middleton will make it to the shortlist.

Given that the period for voting was when "Robron" got engaged - I'd be genuinely surprised if Danny Miller is not in the shortlist.

Natalie Robb could be in the shortlist as this was also around the time Holly's death was aired on screen.

I'd be happy for Natalie Robb to get a nomination, she's been great. A shame if John Middleton misses out because of the dates though - his is the real stand-out performance. I've heard people talking about the Ashley story outside of usual Emmerdale viewers and commenters.

I'm hoping that both John Middleton and Natalie J Robb make the shortlist.

Another vote for John Middleton. I'm sorry he's leaving ED but with his amazing acting in the dementia storyline he's going out with a bang so to speak.
