Hi all... just popped in to say Happy New Year to everyone. Oh, and to say it wasn't me that got the old thread closed down. I got quite a shock when I saw the padlock!

I love January as it means CBB time - it's one of my biggest guilty pleasures


I'm 99.9% sure Georgia is not entering the CBB house on Tuesday - I'm sure she once said she would never do it and the only 'reality' show she would do she has already done, Strictly. I enjoy watching CBB but i wouldn't want Georgia to do it, she's far too good for the show.

Anyway she's been liking Instagrams and the contestants always have their phones taken away from them 48 hours before the show.

I think she's just having a rest and chill out time, i bet the cast had a new years eve/ end of tour party last night - she might have gone back to Bury for a few days today instead of straight back to London.

I don't know anything about this show but will probably watch to see what it's like, am a huge fan of The Voice, especially Will.i.am, but it's a shame it's moved to ITV as all those ad breaks are very annoying

off topic bit: I don't suppose anyone watched EE tonight, but what a dramatic ending with both Ronnie and Roxie drowning in a swimming pool on the same day that Ronnie got married ...... wasn't expecting that

I'm gutted they've killed off Ronnie and Roxy but it was a good episode and the ending fits the characters, the fact that they died together.

The episode with Lee wanting to commit suicide the other night had me in tears - it was so well written and acted.

No, I doubt forgetting will be easy. I doubt this latter part of the year has been easy for her at all! But she's done it, she got through it and has absolutely smashed all her jobs/roles. And if someone doesn't want her or to be a part of her life anymore then IMO it's their loss! Onwards and upwards for her!!

I'm hoping that Georgia will not need or want to do any other reality show but Strictly. The worst one out there is the Jump, somebody is going to be seriously injured on that show,

Georgia and Gorka ? I bet he would love to dance with her, and who could blame him?

There are so many tours the current pros are doing but Alijaz and Janette does seem a bit different to the rest with an unique selling point about Fred Astaire.

Thank you Jammy . You arrived safely home. Are you waking up early due to the time difference? It must have been wonderful for your family to be together. I meant to tell you that I know the Tai Po area really quite well as my daughter attended Valerie's Kindergaten there. My son and daughter have been here for Christmas and New Year and in two days time will be following you back to London to their work and lives. It will be very difficult.


I am afraid that I don't know much more than what the article covers, it will be interesting to see how it is received. I look forward to hear any future comments from the thread.

I was OK yesterday but today I woke up at 0430 and can't get back to sleep Yes it was a lovely trip and good to see both my grandparents in good health they are both in their nineties! I try to go annually usually around Chinese New Year. I have to be honest my Chinese is very bad, I blame it on my family deciding to speak to us all in Hakka instead of Cantonese

Enjoy the last 2 days with your son and daughter. I wish them both a safe flight back to the UK. It's a busy time of the year with Chinese New Year not far away.

I'm surprised ITV haven't spent more on Dance, Dance, Dance but perhaps have decided to invest more in The Voice. I'm looking forward to seeing what Gavin Rossdale will be like as a judge as well. He's far more well known in the states because of his band Bush. In the UK he's known as the former Mr Gwen Stefani, Boy George's ex and being Daisy Lowe's dad. Will.iam, Tom Jones are proven judges and I think Jennifer Hudson will be fabulous, as she was previously a contestant on American Idol.

Looks like Georgia has remembered her spins that she learnt on Strictly. From what we've seen, Gio is pretty fond of those spins so obviously taught her well.

No I think she was still in BAT on 13 November. I haven't listened to it with sound up yet, but whoever it was certainly did a good impression of Georgia - albeit you can't see her face that clearly given that it's dark and covered a lot by the wig - certainly had me fooled!
