Right, better late than never..
So Rocky Horror was a very last minute decision for me and Loz lol. Two days before, in fact

Oxford was a bit far for both of us, really. 4 hours there and back! So we got a hotel for that night.
The whole trip went pretty seamlessly and we kept waiting for something to go wrong lol (after a few mishaps at BAT.) Loz's train arrived literally 5 mins before I did, to pick her up and we found the hotel straight away. Then, once we settled into the hotel, we were googling the theatre and places to eat and of course, places to get donuts and all were on the same street - handy 👍🏻 So once we got ready we left (with the intention to walk) but a taxi had just dropped someone off as we walked out the door so Loz flagged him down. We immediately found the threatre so went off in search of donuts, which we found straight away so headed on for dinner before going to the threatre.
We found our seats easily but they were quite far too the left so not the best (most central) view and there were a few rows behind us that were empty, which if we went further along them, would give us a more central view. So I said to Loz if people don't sit there, I'm moving. Thankfully, no one did so soon as the lights went down, we quickly moved seats.
I've only ever seen Rocky Horror once, a long time ago and Loz had never seen it so we didn't have a clue what to expect but clearly we were amongst the very few who didn't as the whole audience seemed to know every song, every line and every response to every line! We felt like we'd entered an alternate universe and just weren't in on the joke or perhaps we hadn't been handed the script for the audience lol but no, they all just knew it. But then again, we should have expected it as so many people were dressed up and clearly huge fans. We only went to see Georgia - as you all know - but boy, were we glad we did! The show was amazing. We were both in fits of laughter throughout. My cheeks hurt from laughing by the end!
The whole cast really were fab and I don't think there was a weak link between them but onto Georgia, for obvious reasons.. She was utterly fabulous. Columbia is nothing like we've ever seen Georgia do before and for those who haven't seen the Rocky Horror show, nothing like most characters we've ever seen before lol. It really showed how versatile Georgia is as Columbia is far from the sweet little Georgia that we all know (and love.) For those who haven't seen the show; it's very, very naughty and incredibly rude - some of the things the audience were shouting out

- which Georgia played fabulously. Plenty of innuendo but most of the time they bypassed innuendo all together

some of the dancing (well, I say dancing.. Gyrating is probably more accurate) would definitely not have been allowed on Strictly! (Boys, you really should have gone to watch

)
She had quite a bit of singing to do in the show as well as plenty of dancing (including tap - which she was very good at and got very loud cheering for - and at one point during a character break down; break dancing on the floor 😂 ) She really showed off her voice in a note holding contest with Frank, in which Columbia clearly won and received a lot of cheers and applause for.
For those who haven't seen the show, she had a rather long, for the show, piece of dialogue (COLUMBIA: My God! I can't stand any more of this! First you spurn me for Eddie, and then you throw him off like an old overcoat for Rocky! You chew people up and then you spit them out again. I loved you. Do you hear me? I loved you! And what did it get me? Yeah, I'll tell you: a big nothing. You're like a sponge. You take, take, take, and drain others of their love and emotion. Yeah, well, I've had enough.) which after she finishes, she tries to storm off but is sprayed with some kind of chemical which turns her a bit loopy. Which Georgia played brilliantly. Columbia literally went crazy, shrieking, singing, laughing, dancing which ended in break dancing on the floor. Utterly brilliant 😂 God, she was fab!!
For the boys - Georgia then donned some incredibly sexy lingerie as did the rest of the cast, including the boys, for the last performance before throwing herself in front of Frank and dying.
We had some very enthusiastic fans in front of us (who actually spent the show dancing and singing in the aisle) and one of them was actually crying when Columbia died. The fans are very enthusiastic over RHS, which was great. They really made the show and when we chatted to Georgia, afterwards, we mentioned the fans and what happens if the audience doesn't know the scripts/what to shout out and she said it never happens and they always do - apart from in Italy, which she said was a little awkward lol.
After the bows, it was time for one more Time Warp before we made our way to the stage door. There were a few people waiting and more came as we waited for Georgia. I nearly lost Loz to the gorgeous actor who played Rocky but insisted we weren't to try to talk him into drinks and were to wait for Georgia lol. She came out with her friend (one of her friends she's often posting photos of on Instagram - so we recognised her straight away) and came straight over to see us and thank us for coming. We chatted about the show and how much we loved it. Told Georgia we'd never seen it and couldn't believe the audience reaction. Georgia's friend was the same and she was wondering the same as us about how they knew what to say and Georgia was telling us about how massive the cult following is and that's when we chatted about what happens if the audience doesn't know what to say and she said it never happens. Her friend was lovely and chatty with us as well and said she wished she wasn't sitting alone during the time warp as she felt daft getting up on her own - had we known she could have sat with us!
We were chatting about how different Columbia is to anything we've seen Georgia do and she seemed a bit embarrassed when she said 'she's very naughty isn't she?' (Naughty is tame fir what she was, yes lol)
We asked her how on earth she keeps a straight face because the show is so funny and she said it is very difficult and she just wants to laugh along. Says she does giggle when she's backstage or not so much in the spot light lol. She was telling us that, in the show, the day before we came, she broke the pearl necklace she has to wear and all the pearls just shattered to the floor and then slowly rolled off stage which was slightly awkward but funny.
We asked what she was doing next and she said taking a break from theatre, her voice was starting to go and she said she was getting bit worried during the long note, she had to hold, she'd end up with nothing left to come out lol. Said she was going on holiday. Then she said hopefully going back into TV and drama.
Hopefully the theatre break isn't too long as I've absolutely loved going to see her and BAT and RHS have been fabulous! Also, now, I've gotten over my ridiculous fear, I like popping over to see Georgia afterwards. She is such a sweetheart
We gave her her presents and she got excited and said 'she can see the donuts already' and I was like 'of course there are donuts! Do you think we'd come to see you and not bring donuts?! What do you take us for?!' Lol.
She was ever so lovely and she and her friend spent a while chatting with us - in between a few others asking for Georgia's autograph and having their pictures taken with her. Something which, no, I did not do. As I've said before, that girl is seriously stunning and there's no way my face is being next to hers in a photo!
Sadly, no where was really open on Thursday so me and Loz then got a taxi back to the hotel. And apart from a slight delay in Loz's train leaving the next morning, we both made it home safely and the whole trip was a total breeze from start to finish.
We only went to see Georgia - which would have been worth it in its own - but we both absolutely loved the show and wanted to stay and watch it again the next day!! Sadly, Loz couldn't afford another train and we both couldn't afford another hotel stay, nor another show, really. Such a bloody shame because I'd have stayed and watched it another 20 times, if I could. That's how utterly fabulous it was!! Soon as Rocky Horror starts up again, I'm demanding Georgia is recast as Columbia!
Oh, side note, Oxford was lovely. Never been before but it was a lovely, lovely place and I'd definitely like to go again. Although, Georgia, darling, a closer location, next time, would be grand
