I told you to come with us to RHS! Could have gotten all kitted out and everything 💃👄💅🎩👠💄
Hats, colourful clothing, makeup - I could have managed with all that. Heels on the other hand - not good for health and safety, I'd have been straight over.

You would've spent more time picking me up from the ground that propping me up, especially if I'd joined you and Loz going out in Oxford later! And I'm still in the 'far too embarrassed to meet her phase' that you were in before meeting her!

. Hope those who caused the split and our upset over it, are pleased. But hey, like you said, here's to our new thread

I've carried the link to our old GG threads so they will never be forgotten!! And neither will TeamGG. Might not have ended how we wanted but nothing will take away from them being one of the best (the best imo) partnerships on Strictly! And this daft thread change won't stop me from appreciating and chatting about how good TeamGG was, either. As I've said above, just because they've split doesn't erase their Strictly history. And that's what this forum section is, predominantly, about! D
Hello Star. Please know that I wish the GG thread had not been closed, but I mostly feel incredibly grateful that you started the thread and put so much love and attention into it. Appreciating and chatting about team GG and over time re visiting some of the wonderful images and events is the way to go. Jammy has already posted some of your work here on this new thread.👍

I absolutely love that costume!! If possible I think know it's even sparklier than Strictly!!
Two days and we'll be there!!
Enjoy your adventure with Lozzer.✌️Alicia💕🌞

Yay, well found Jammy! And yay that the links still seem to be working, even if I did have to press the refresh button a couple of times to wake one of them up!

Question for you all this morning, so I'm sure the first thing on Georgia's agenda at the moment is a nice and very well deserved break, but after that what sort of things would people most like to see her doing in terms of work in the near future - one thing's for sure is that she won't be short of offers after a wonderful set of reviews for her performances.

I know productions such as Grease have been mooted recently, I think that would be a good idea. I'd like to see her in something which would allow her to showcase her talents for dancing, singing and acting - it's very rare that you can get someone who can do all three! So yeah, I guess I'd quite like to see her do another theatre / musical production (preferably one that comes to Newcastle or somewhere close by ).

In my lurking days on the GG thread I used to really look forward to all your reports and love how you picked up things that I had noticed and even better things I hadn't noticed, which meant I had to rewatch Sergio's videos again! What a chore not. It would be a travesty if these were lost

It also meant I got to know you all a bit before I finally joined you all posting on the thread X

Hi Brian, I'm hoping for a West End debut in any well-known musical. A revival of Grease, West Side Story or Dirty Dancing. Or perhaps a special TV version of a musical like Kara Tointon did so more people become aware of how talented Georgia really is.

I was away at Christmas and have come back to see the thread closed which is a great shame. After all the Kara/Artem thread had not been closed despite them splitting up so really can't see the difference. Should the Jay/Aliona thread be closed as well, they will probably not dance again?

Can't really see the logic. But it is what it is, I suppose. Hopefully some of the negative stuff will be gone. I will not be mentioning you know who outside of their Strictly partnership.

Sad
afternoon, I hope everyone had a lovely Christmas

the difference is that, as far as I know, there haven't been negative comments about Jay/Aliona/Kara and Artem in their respective threads

I joined the Team GG thread because of Gio and have enjoyed chatting to you all for the past year, or more, but that thread had mainly been the Georgia Appreciation thread since August so I suppose it made sense to close it

maybe NDD will come back now, I do hope so

was sorry to hear about George Michael as I liked his music, and also Status Quo's music so was sad to hear that Rick Parfitt had died on Christmas Eve ..... but I don't suppose many people in here have heard of him

For me, I see West End work or a BBC/ITV drama. Think the theatre work will come flooding after all her brilliant review on both BAT and Rocky Horror.

Hi Ruby, I hope you had a lovely Christmas too. I love to chat and post about both GG so I'm gutted about the thread closing. But I will continue to post my ramblings on this new thread.

I'm definitely old enough to know about Rick Parfitt and the Quo! Big hair rock isn't really my thing although I don't mind a bit of Guns and Roses and Bon Jovi I'm more gutted at the passing of Carrie Fisher. I still remember how excited I was when I saw the first Star Wars. Also sad we've lost Liz Smith too Hope we don't lose anyone else before the arrival of 2017!

I just have a feeling that Georgia's Agents may be looking for more TV - more money and more name recognition.
She did look really good in Trollied !
There is also a chance that a film part might come up which I know Georgia would like.

There is a tour of Chicago in B'ham right now - would love to see Georgia in Chicago one day !

I think those are all excellent suggestions Jammy - I'd love to see her in the West End especially and given her recent performances and reviews I don't think we'll have long to wait!

You are absolutely right Isla, the work will come flooding in after all her brilliant reviews, like I said to Jammy I'd love to see her in the West End but I also think your suggestion of a BBC/ITV drama is a fantastic one - I'm sure Georgia herself has talked about wanting to get a part in a good gritty drama at some point.

I just have a feeling that Georgia's Agents may be looking for more TV - more money and more name recognition.

You may well be right Sandy - with all her talents for singing, dancing and as an actor she could pretty much go any way in which she chooses. She was fabulous in Trollied, she played the role she had to absolute perfection - and she was totally fabulous at doing all the comedy that went along with it.

And I think Georgia would absolutely love a role in Chicago!

NDD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! YOU'RE BACK!!!!!!!!! WE'VE MISSED YOU!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So, so happy you're back!

So you haven't been on the internet for over a month - for goodness sake, that really is totally beyond the joke. And you've missed so many Georgia things going on!

Like all these pics from her new role in RHS:
https://www.instagram.com/p/BNu0O3SD...iamay112&hl=en
https://www.instagram.com/p/BOiOu1_A...iamay112&hl=en
https://www.instagram.com/p/BOHyGBVg...iamay112&hl=en
https://www.instagram.com/p/BOAQ2fKA...iamay112&hl=en

And I noticed Middlesbrough haven't been doing too badly in the football stakes - unlucky again at the weekend, but quite a few decent results over the past few months. It'll be a nervy season for you, but I think you'll keep your heads above water.

But so happy that you're back, I got so excited when I saw your name pop up in the latest posts bit on the forum!

Star I could not agree with you more in everything you have said and there is no one who can stop us discussing GG's amazing dance partnership. It was part of Georgia's life (and ours) .

Hats, colourful clothing, makeup - I could have managed with all that. Heels on the other hand - not good for health and safety, I'd have been straight over.
Brian My most important question for you is............... in Georgia's latest pic, did you like the lipstick ???!!!!!

There is a tour of Chicago in B'ham right now - would love to see Georgia in Chicago one day !
I think this will be on Georgia's "Dreams I would like to achieve list". If Hayley Tamaddon can do it then so can she ! She will make a fab Roxie.

Lovely little interview with Georgia - she can do adverts too! Love how she says beltin' at the end!

Though saying that I'm not quite sure NDD will be as positive about internet networks as Georgia at the moment!

Brian My most important question for you is............... in Georgia's latest pic, did you like the lipstick ???!!!!!
I most certainly did! I love the bright ones especially!! It doesn't beat that blue one from a few months back, but it comes quite close you know!

She certainly has - I think she could pretty much do whatever field of work she fancied being as talented as she is!
