Georgia should be very proud of all she has achieved this year. She's smashed every job she's had (just like we knew she would!!) And according to what I've seen, is adored by all who she's met and worked with. I do hope she doesn't dwell on the bad things but I suppose it will be hard not to.

If I was to give her one piece of advise for next year it would be to know her worth and to realise that some people do not deserve her, never did deserve her and never will deserve her!! Onwards and upwards for her from now on. And I, for one, will be supporting her all the way!! She's an absolute star, not to mention an absolute sweetheart and I can't wait to see what jobs 2017 brings her

That a Girl. I think most people would like to forget 2016. But professionally Georgia should not. She's broken out of just being a soap star on stage, something perhaps she had doubts about. Now hopefully a nice TV role for next year.

Happy New Year's Eve everyone - i'm still on a buzz from Rocky Horror
The show is incredible and i can't believe i've never seen it before - as soon as it comes to Manchester again, i will be straight there.

Georgia said she was taking a little break from theatre in the new year but whatever show she does do next - i'm praying it comes a lot closer to me than Oxford.



I don't really read much into her following and liking Gorka's pics and vice versa, she also follows and likes pics of Oksana, AJ, Katya and Chloe and they follow Georgia and like her pics even though i doubt she's met them that many times.

I think it's very unlikely they are guests on Janette and Aljaz's tour but i agree i'd love to see her dancing with Gorka in the Christmas special (hopefully in 2017) as i think they'd be perfect height wise.

I was at a show at the Bridgewater hall in Manchester a couple of weeks ago where Remembering Fred will be on and i saw a leaflet for it - it looks like a great show and i'm seriously thinking about booking tickets to see it.

I still haven't watched the christmas special - i've got a pile of things on my telly box to watch that i've recorded over christmas. I'm off work now for 2 weeks until i start my new job so i should get a chance to watch everything at some point.


I don't really have a lot to say about Gio anymore, so i won't be bringing him up in this thread unless it's to look back at Team GG on Strictly.



It always seems to be on in Manchester for a couple of weeks every year, it gets advertised in the theatre what's on guides that are sent to my house - i've fancied going each time but just never got round to it, the show tonight is the final one of this run but maybe it will start up again later in 2017, it always seems to be touring as it's so popular. As Georgia has done such an amazing job as Columbia, i hope they ask her back on the next tour. I think she'd jump at the chance to do it again as she's had such a fab time.

Absolutely agree with all of the above - all very true.

Georgia truly has excelled in every single job she's had this year, covering such a wide range of characters as well - from the slightly giddy and very funny Holly in Trollied, then onto another Holly who's slightly more 'serious', whom she earned so so many wonderful reviews for her portrayal of. Then onto the (by the sounds of it) totally outrageous Columbia - a role which everyone has said she has performed amazingly in and by all accounts, it was something that we hadn't seen from her before. It really does go to show the breadth and depth of her talent, and like everyone else I cannot wait to see what 2017 holds in store for her!

More personally, I think it's a year when she has probably been able to learn a lot too - namely, as Star said, that some people simply do not deserve her - never have done, never ever will do.

Yes, I think it tends to come to Newcastle for a couple of weeks ever year too - so hopefully if Georgia's ever back in it (which I'm sure she would love to be) she'll be in the Manchester and Newcastle legs of the tour!

2016 has been a terrible year for me but with some great highlights in watching GG on the Strictly tour, watching BAT and RHS, meeting Loz and of course, the lovely, Georgia.

It's been a joy to talk to you all this year. Sad that the GG thread is no more and the lovely partnership, we all loved on Strictly, is no more but I suppose that's life. Everything happens for a reason as they say. Georgia has had many highs, this year, to out number the lows and that's what we must focus on. I hope Georgia is doing the same!

Very excited to see what 2017 brings for Georgia and can't wait to chat to you all about it in here

I think many of us can't quite explain why GG affected us so much but I knew as soon as Georgia first appeared on Strictly that I had fallen instantly in love with her!! The fact they were far & away the most watchable dance partnership as well was just a massive bonus!!

Its really been a great one for Georgia to showcase her talents - taking on a lead role in her theatre debut and doing so well with it. Being recognised for her singing and dancing as well as her acting/stage presence. Its also given her the opportunity to mix with what seem to be a great bunch of genuinely nice people who really like her and she gets on great with. I'm sure she'll reap all the benefits in 2017
