I quite enjoyed this even though it was essentially an hour long advert for the new LEGO store in London (which looks amazing, as did its mosaic maker.....until you find out it's £100!!!).

Love the Beatles Yellow Submarine lego set (I have one, don't know whether to build it or sell it on unboxed in a few years though). Has anyone been to the store? I like the idea of going, but I think in reality it will just be packed with tourists.

Thanks for the heads up - missed this and found it on catch up. The construction of tower bridge that could support two cars was good. Like you Davonator, couldn't believe the mosaic maker though. (Like a passport booth, where you get a lego-pixilated photo of yourself and it throws in your very own customised bricks to build your portrait) An amazing idea, but at £100 a pop?! I guess though it'll be a bit like a trip to legoland, something you promise the chldren.......... once!

Lego is the most ludicrously overpriced toy on the market. Makes video games look cheap by comparison.

Are C4 being paid by them to make these hour long advertorials? Two in the last year by my reckoning.

You can actually do the mosaic maker thing at home for a fraction of the cost, provided you have a decent photo editing programme. You would just have to pixelate the image you want done and overlay a grid on it, then copy it. The only problem is making sure you have enough mosaic lego blocks to build the image.

I always thought that the idea behind LEGO was that you bought a load of bricks and you used your imagination to build all sorts of things.
But when you get LEGO sets like the Millennium Falcon etc. you can only build the MILLENNIUM FALCON !

I believe that's the idea behind the Lego Classic range.

A good hours tv, i really enjoyed it. I do wonder if manager Paul got the job because he resembled a Lego man though....
