How can you say it will please a few more people?

It's highly likely that those who did watch the actual Christmas Day offering would turn off your so-called "schedule". Personally, I think variety shows of the kind you've proposed are utterly dreadful and are little more than cheap filler.

Post cartoon film a Charlie Higson adaptation of Norman Hunter's Incrediblania stories.

A male and female fronted variety show where the hosts get involved with the acts - she becomes a magician's assistant, he sings a duet etc.

A lighthearted period crime drama by someone like Anthony Horowiitz.

A 75/90 minute one off comedy by a household name writer.

A sketch show after the news.”

That sounds like the best Christmas Day schedule ever made in the history of Christmas schedules!!

Maybe add watching paint dry to it and you're onto a winner

The question comes to mind, what are you really angry about?

Just because people disagree with you, it doesn't make them a wind-up merchant.

Instead of treating people with the moderators, why not actually justify your proposed Christmas Day schedule, explaining why it's better than the usual offering?
