Watershed down, what's that about? A load of rabbits who have to go to bed before 9pm?

A great campaigner for animal rights and a World War II veteran as well.
I remember seeing the cartoon as a very young child - both incredibly brutal and beautiful. The natural world in a nutshell. Kirk Douglas lock yourself in your bedroom. |

Can't have just died because there's a thread from an hour ago.

More sad news. His books were great favourites in this family. He was also an animal rights activist and supported the Born Free Foundation.

R.I.P. The animated version of Watership Down is so haunting. |

He hasn't "just died", by the way. It's "just been announced" that he "passed away peacefully at 10pm on Christmas Eve". There seems to be an assumption that all news is instantaneous. It isn't.
