I guess the station were scrapping the bottom of the barrel to who they would get to host the show so they chose Paddy O Connell. I suspect Mark Goodier was the choice but because of his stroke a few months back this was the last result.

Paddy does seem a strange choice especially as he only usually covers the current affairs slot when Jeremy is away.

Suspect Mark would have been the first choice as you say occy.

not so strange. Paddy is a big pop fan. He was the BBC 3 commentator for Eurovision in the past and still comperes live shows related to that event.

And your point is?
You don't like Paddy O'Connell?

Was surprised that country singer George Strait was in there and do all Lil Wayne songs have swearing as he said they couldn't play one.

From my own personal perspective, irritated that some artists got 3 songs, most got 2, but the country acts got one.

Same for RnB only 1 each for Jay Z, Kayne West and Eminem.

I am guessing that they had to cut some artists short because of Monday changing to the George Michael tribute show instead. So they had 4 days to cram it all in instead of 5.
