If you'd actually read what I said, you'll notice that I said that the UK government would never invest in the same things if it had the choice. It doesn't display the same sort of decentralist, long-term thinking that the EU has shown.
Of course we won't get all the money back directly from the EU - that makes no sense at all - but we get it back by being part of a massive single market, with the trade and opportunity that results. You seem unable to look at the big picture, which is unfortunate. Facts seem to be a challenge too.
