Erdogan says the US supports ISIS
Palafrugel
27-12-2016
Quote:
““They were accusing us of supporting Daesh (Islamic State),” he told a press conference, according to Reuters.

“Now they give support to terrorist groups including Daesh, YPG, PYD. It's very clear. We have confirmed evidence, with pictures, photos and videos,””

This seems to be becoming a tradition. Taking a swipe at America when there is about to be a change of president. Rodrigo Duterte has also been attacking Obama quite a bit lately.

Blaming their problems on the US is a well-worn tactic for second-rate leaders the world over.

...through Turkey actually, so Erdogan can hardly complain as he is the willing middleman. The US was hoping to give weapons to the more moderate rebels but there werent enough of them around, except for the Kurds and the Turks were hardly gonna hand the weapons over to them. They handed the US weapons over to IS with instructions to attack the Kurds.

An interesting read: https://syria360.wordpress.com/2015/...oreign-policy/

The US allowed ISIS to take a foothold in Syria as they thought it would help destabilise and topple Assad which was their primary objective.

Erdogan gets his truths from the same place as trump - Putin.

Well sadly for America, whatever Erdogan does say - it is in US interests to agree and apologise to Turkey. As long as Turkey has 50 US nuclear missiles in stored Turkey's Incirlik Airbase - the US is in no position to say anything at all concerning Turkey.

Accordingly New York Times, LA Times, ABC and CNN have not touched the story.

Erdogan wants a certain someone extradited from the USA so he can have a show trial and execution.

Erdogan is close both religiously and politically to IS.
