A friend of mine was shopping today and heard the staff in the store talking about the stock of Easter eggs coming in later this week. It seems so quick after the holidays!

I've not had one of those for years! Do they make giant ones for Easter? The eggs, not the truck!

My local supermarket still has loads of Christmas leftovers. No sign of Easter yet. It does seem a bit soon after Christmas but I'm looking forward to Mini Eggs being available again. I love them.

Not yet, but no doubt we will hear "There is a green hill far away" at supermarkets sometime in January.

We'll today I've seen adverts for fitness DVDs, weight loss clubs and booking holidays. Now it's Easter eggs! Things seem to come around quicker!

I've had 4 Cadbury Creme Eggs already. Brought them on 22nd December.

The shop assistant said they had Easter Eggs in the stock room and will be put on the shelves Boxing Day

My local corner shop always puts some Easter Eggs on display on Boxing Day. The funny thing is, the shop always runs out of Easter Eggs about a week before Easter and don't get any more in!

No, I'm fuming. Chocolate tastes better when it's egg-shaped.

I would have thought Valentine's Day would be the next big marketing exercise.

Tesco sell hot cross buns all year round. Our local Spar shop had some Cadburys cream eggs on show on Christmas eve.

What kind of crazy fool would buy Malteaser bunnies when they could get half price Malteaser reindeers?

Yesterday I saw valentine's stuff in an M&S and a whole Easter display in the Co-op, bang slap next to the reduced Christmas items!

Can't they just let us have a few days respite before moving on to the next money fest?!!!

Haven't seen any yet, but the poster who mentioned about there local shop getting them in on Boxing Day, and once they have gone that is it.

This must be about 20 years back, where I live was more of a village back then, the corner shop wouldn't get the ordinary eggs in what would sell. But the type of Egg which contained like a whole box of After Eights, or a whole box of Ferrero Rochet, which never sold,
