When I see the plastic faces, I automatically age them up so I would probably guess older than they are, because it's often so obvious.
They were like superannuated Stepford Wives! Very strange, sinister faces.

I often wonder if they feel they are genuinely fooling people re their real age. I must be odd as I find them strangely fascinating in a macabre way.

So pleased I found this and loving seeing the group again. I think Wayne would probably fare best out of everyone, and could make a go of living anywhere - he just embraces life - is happy to be in the lime light surrounded by and making people happy! Rosemary too has been a revelation. What a lovely, generous person with a kind heart, cooking for everyone, with little thanks - eh Miriam? Yet behind the no nonsense slightly bossy exterior, there's a vulnerability there too. It's sad that she's always felt second best to her siblings and never felt beautiful and just assumes there's no way of changing. Miriam is being her usual - speak as I find, I'm mad as a box of frogs me - self, yet I don't mind her in this. Interestingly beneath that pain in the whatsit,....... bumptious front she puts on, she's probably the most terrified!

These people who have had grotesque plastic surgery have always fascinated me! They seem to be living in a fantasy world with mirrors which don't reflect their hideous faces. I'm always pleased to see well known celebrities who have not had plastic surgery and not afraId to show their wrinkles et al. I have much more respect for them.

I love this programme and the previous one but wish Miriam hadn't come back. She's very nasty and carries the whole "I'm old and can say whatever I like" thing too far. You would think she could afford a new swimsuit though. All the stretch in it had perished probably due to being very old. I like the others and I'm glad Jan Leeming didn't come back. She comes across as very needy and desperate for a man. Its a shame Miriam is ruining what would be a nice little programme.

Two of my favourites.

Do you remember the Twister ride? I think that's also closed. Have you been on the hulk rollercoaster? It's the best. The spiderman ride is pretty good as well.
Yes went on twister, no, has that closed? Loved the hulk, it was so hot in the queue they had to spray us with water and the spiderman one was amazing, 3D, when he landed on the bonnet of the carriage. I was just blown away by the whole place to be honest and got the best photo on the jaws ride, just as the shark jumped up at the side of the boat before he got electrocuted. I just so happened to be sitting in the right place

I often watch footage of those rides on youtube, especially the jurassic park one

The Jaws ride is closed? I was at the one in LA which I think is still open.
Yes at Universal Orlando, it is unfortunately.

I genuinely feel for those suffering with / from dysmorphic disorder but too many "enhanced" faces in that place for all to be suffering - the number of surgeons locally being testament.

I too prefer a natural look both male and female.

A bit like Marmite I suppose. She is what she is and I like that, no airs and graces.

Agree about Jan Leeming, I don't go much on her myself - too self pitying, her love life (or lack of) was of no interest to me.

Could not be any less like Karl's programmes. Bears absolutely no resemblance at all.
I thought so. Opinions eh?

Miriam sure has no graces ! I really don't understand the need to constantly harp on about her bodily functions ? She seems to think its endearing or funny ?

I have several friends - one is really foul mouthed at times, one who constantly likes to bring sex into the conversation any chance she can whilst another raves about politics etc - all different and, at times, completely oblivious to how they come across to others. Perhaps its the norm for Miriam.

I vaguley remember John McCririck on CBB(?) years ago who picked his nose and ate it - that replused me yet others were fine with it. Swings and roundabouts.

Yes I think that Miriam is ruining this program. I am sure that they could have found another woman who isn't so bitter, self-opinionated, bossy, aggressive, who breaks wind regardlessly (but not Joanna Lumley). When she went down the politics route at the club's party night saying she didn't like Republicans and comparing Trump to Hitler and upsetting a couple of the club's residents, I thought why is this awful woman be paid to be on tv.

Because a bit of controversy makes good TV? Anyway her "rude" comments to Americans only amounted to a few seconds out of an entire programme.

That is something that is etched in my memory forever. That and his massive y-fronts that he used to walk about in.

I actually felt quite embarassed as an English woman and would not like her to be considered representative of us all. It's ok to have an opinion and disagree - but she yelled like a banshee, determined to shout him down, really bad manners and she was what you might term a guest in their Country. He should have told her to mind her own business, it's their politics not ours.

Well that is all they chose to show us.

Who was the other feller in the previous series?

He was the one who butted into their conversation with his bigoted pro-Trump views. She had every right to call him out for interrupting a private conversation. I don't blame her for getting irate.

The put-on accent was a bit silly, though.

I agree with your views about Miriam.I don't think I would get on with her but I find her very entertaining.

I think I must be in the minority. I always laugh when Miriam is on. Rosemary is ok but I find Wayne and Bobby a bit bland.

Roll on Japan.

Wayne seems to be enjoying it all but Bobby just appears to be along for the ride, imo.

Imagine how dull the prog would be without either of the ladies. I like Miriam and Rosemary is growing on me.

ETA: Found a clip of them in Japan " Miriam enjoys a high-tech massage chair... perhaps a little too much."
