Hi

With so many icons going to heaven last few days, I thought I'd post a happy thread.

I will start off with:

News building up that the Euro is set to implode. This can only be good news as hols and goods will be a lot cheaper from the Euro countries.

Are you aiming for starting the most new threads until school starts again?

Found Ripper Street series 5 free online - way before the BBC will show it (I only have Freeview).

It's one of my favourite dramas of the last decade although Bennet Drake (played by the superb Jerome Flynn - and no I have not seen GOT yet) has passed.

That will cheer me right up!

So basically, in order to cheer up after a spate of depressing news stories. You offer us one other news story, that might all be depressing???

How is the alleged failure of the Euro good news?
Don't you think that if the various economies are under stress, then businesses may fail reducing choice. Also their imports will be at a higher cost.

Might not be too good for all the imports we need which may have less availability as a result.

Ret.

It's like cheering as the house next door starts on fire because it means that at least for tonight you're probably not going to have to put the heating on.

When they turn up at their digs to find it shut due to business failure and there is no where else to stay, they will be happy to have saved a bit of spending money.
