She has a 42 inch plasma TV and a Virgin Media TiVo box, but is choosing to watch BBC One right now in SD rather than HD! What's the point in spending the money on such a big TV just to not watch HD when available to watch?

I've had Virgin cable for years but only got an HD box a few months ago

I tend to still watch in SD because I know the channel numbers.............

to be fair though on Virgin cable I can't tell the difference between SD and HD.

BBC1 is understandable, but you really wouldn't choose SD when you have HD available.

I'm not sure that that's a proper sentence.

Especially when you are paying for the top Sky package or Virgin TV package.

I actually still instinctively go on SD Channels than HD I don't know I'm just used to that sort of quality. But there's not really much of a difference between SD and HD in my eyes mainly might be because I'm still using a HDTV from 2010. I don't' really give a shit now as I did back then when it was so new to me.

Next door neighbour is like that, they have a TV with a HD tuner and yet they watch channels via Sky in SD instead.

i know I watch SD as my Tv only have an SD tuner in and I can not always be bothered to turn the PVR on to watch them in HD.

It could be worse.
She could be looking in the radio times, typing in the freeview channel numbers and complaining that her virgin box shows the wrong programme or no programme.
