The series has been going on for years. Hard to catch up like that.

Bickering/ arguments are part of the show and many guys and ladies bicker in the show, your post doesn't make it clear.

May I suggest you post in the " Soap" forums. This forum isn't for soaps. Even medicated soap.

It was last week.

I didn't think Holby was a soap as isn't it a weekly drama?

As posted before this programme is on 52 weeks a year, regular viewers know. I can't post pages of updates when you do not follow it, as I am missing it. Maybe someone in the soap forum will update you, but you can view IPlayer on recent programmes.

Yes I thought so too. Browsing the laptop whilst my wife watches Holby and I couldn't help thinking exactly the same thing. BBC decide to take a pop at Brexiteers via some intentionally awful patient character who is just plain horrible regardless of her political views. I'm sure that the majority of people who voted to leave the EU can appreciate the valuable work that foreign nationals perform in the NHS. Those same people would also prefer that UK nationals were trained to perform those functions allowing those talented foreign medical staff to continue to practise in their own countries and hence minimising the risk of creating skills shortages elsewhere in the world.

The BBC just can't help it. Many years ago the BBC tried it on in a Vicar of Dibley episode, trying to guilt trip its loyal audience with images of yet another African famine crises.
