Because it may occur to you that Voldemort wanted to put on a show. Harry dying mysteriously, in a maze no one can see would've worked to his advantage....he kills Harry, touches the cup and returns to the front of the maze, with an audience.

Sending him a port in the post may not reach him, and aren't Harry's posts tampered with by the ministry because of Sirius Black's wearabouts?
Tsk, dat ruddy Voldemort

I was going to, but ended up missing 1 and 2 so didn't bother. Will wait until next time.

Me too. I've not seen them before or read the books but sat through the first film last night and thought it was incredibly boring, badly acted and badly made with some truly shit CGI. I've no idea what the attraction is!

I don't like what ITV are doing on Thursday night by splitting the film in and showing the film part way through the film.
pardon??

Daughter is watching them despite having all the dvds and seeing the films at least 10 times each, she just loves them (she's 20 btw).

I do find Daniel Radcliffe acting progressively getting worse as he was getting older, but the others wasn't so bad.

But my attraction to the films is just how very British it is and I love magic, also I do find the stories in them quite good and interesting.

I thought it was derivative crap. It does annoy me a bit that people squawk about Rowling so much when there are so many vastly better YA authors, like Philip Reeve, Garth Nix or Pullman.

That's your opinion and that's fine, but the old cliché, we all like different things. I could dislike Philip Reeve for an example but it doesn't necessarily make him bad, just not for me.
