For me the most memorable of the slow dances was Artem's "Swan Lake" with Holly Valance - really loved it.
I remember how Alesha's feet didn't appear to touch the ground in her magical Waltz. There are many many other good memories, and I agree about Jay's jive, but have never understood why people are still bowled over by Jill Halfpenny's jive, good though it was. I liked Ore's "Singing in the Rain" dance a lot - really a lot. |

Virtually the same article was in the Mail. I got the impression it was just based on his DVD and that neither had spoken to him.

(Used J&D's original jive - can't find a very high quality version of either from Series 2 and didn't want to use the series 6 reprise.) |

I am watching the DVD at the moment.
Some dances that I thought were good are not so much. A lot of poor footwork which they wouldn't get away with now. Even Ricky Whittle who I thought was robbed was very twined toed. Natasha K was very basic but it was first series. Only up to Austin Healey paso. |

I can't understand Len's Blackpool decision, he criticised it because of the Gymnastics!
