Since no one else seems to be commenting:

I'd have Jay's jive as the best themed rountine

Karatem VW as best music or best use of the music just for the way they used the music to have Kara's arm movements synch with the dramatic accents in the song

Best at Blackpool for me it's Kartem's AS I'm usually a tad unimpressed with what happens at Blackpool

Best humour - can't argue with his choice here - the only cha cha cha I've ever loved

Ramp's salsa or AT as best sportsman's routine although Austin's jive is a close second to those

for high scorer I need to look up what got 40s because it seems to me that the best rountines are not the ones who get 40s so for the moment I'm going to go with Doti's samba an amazing and groundbreaking rountine that did

Funnily enough I think Len picked one of the few undeserving routinue as the best champs there are plenty of deserving ones to suggest instead Caroline's charleston, Louis's Halloween tango and many would probably pick Alesha's waltz but I'm going for Tomilla's showdance because it was the perfect end to a championship run

and best of the best for me is either Chelsee's quickstep or Matt DA's salsa

And the rest is up to anyone who wants to play and I'll post up links to all suggestions on here.

For me the most memorable of the slow dances was Artem's "Swan Lake" with Holly Valance - really loved it.
I remember how Alesha's feet didn't appear to touch the ground in her magical Waltz.

There are many many other good memories, and I agree about Jay's jive, but have never understood why people are still bowled over by Jill Halfpenny's jive, good though it was.

I liked Ore's "Singing in the Rain" dance a lot - really a lot.

Virtually the same article was in the Mail. I got the impression it was just based on his DVD and that neither had spoken to him.

It's slightly surprising that three of his eight picks are jives. Generally a good selection though.

I've added links to the dances on YouTube. (Used J&D's original jive - can't find a very high quality version of either from Series 2 and didn't want to use the series 6 reprise.)

I am watching the DVD at the moment.
Some dances that I thought were good are not so much. A lot of poor footwork which they wouldn't get away with now.
Even Ricky Whittle who I thought was robbed was very twined toed. Natasha K was very basic but it was first series.
Only up to Austin Healey paso.

I can't understand Len's Blackpool decision, he criticised it because of the Gymnastics!

It was a really good samba but there were a few gymnastic flips right at the end which it didn't need.

No surprised. I really liked Aliona. I thought her partnership with Jay was lovely.
