You have to try some of the short codes and see.
I tried :down: which is a vbulletin code, but it isn't used here so had no effect.

Yeah, there's a bunch of Unicode characters in Windows Character Map that show up as a space, I used some in the batang font.

Oh, best I edit the other post quick, while I still can!

Your post didn't show up as blank for me, can't remember exactly but there there were some kind of weird ˩ characters showing. Guess it depends on your OS's character map.
