She must be gutted losing out to an unfinished room!

Don't think so. She just talks slowly.

There was one point where her face was really drooping to one side. Could be nothing.

It was just the creosote running. She forgot to use primer.

So nice to see condescending Kelly and derogatory Dan dress down and all working class for an episode that features real people in homes that aren't upper middle class enclaves. It must've been hard supressing the sneers.

Love reading all the comments on here tonight! (seem to agree with all, lol at the ones about Kelly!)

One thing that puzzled me, James took a sofa back to his hotel to recover it? How? Porters etc, width of doorways?

I liked Anna, for being so organised - a former PA, and it showed, but shame she didn't think more about what was required. Also, the dining table was only big enough for one, but the space was tiny. Nicholas, annoying, I didn't like his room much, but his client loved it, (and the fish got a new tank). Does she have to unwrap the tv each time she wants to watch it?

James, a modest, likeable man, and what he achieved, was a lovely room. Good luck to him.

Just love this program. Last night's seemed the worst lot mind. James was white and sparse and they just got excited by a tiny impractical fold out table. Nicolas was safe, the table was the best bit. Anna had good idea for dining table and layout but that awful wall paper was far too loud for a small room , she seemed amazed she lost, I would get it stripped was soon as she left. Also that decorator in James is a contended for best boobs.

Just found this thread.

I wasn't impressed with KH on Dragons' Den, and this hasn't done anything to make me change my mind. Nor do I particularly like the "just come in from the rain" hair style.

And the coffee cup under the badly finished desk.
Ah yes; the lady who's so organised and accurate in her job (and told us so more than once) that she messed up measuring the celing paper.

I have a feeling that the client's feedback plays a very small part in their decision making!
Exactly. "What do the clients know? They're only peasants. But we, the judges, are the experts who know everything about everything and a bit more besides."

Kelly should have stuck with Dragons Den and programmes where she just sits in a chair and we do not see any profile views of her. ( which the hair tries to disguise) Harley Street beckons after this programme.

I'm glad Kelly explained how James got through despite not finishing.
Nicholas was so annoying and his room was a letdown for me.
Anna's room was far too girly.

I didn't like Anna's room, but I am shocked she didn't go through. The guy seemed to have liked it and I thought the judges took that into consideration?

It must be annoying for them only having 48 hours to do a room than having to take 3 hours out for the creative challenge.

Just caught up on last night's programme - agreed with the judges decision, although James owes his builder and decorator a very large drink, as without them pushing him along the room would have been even more unfinished (although the light switches would have been perfectly straight and central).

Love the comments re Kelly. I stayed at a v. posh hotel a year or so ago that made a great deal about the public spaces and bedrooms having been designed by her. The whole place was exceedingly minimalist, with everything in various tasteful shades of taupe - apart from the cushions, the runners on the bed, and the odd lampshade.....which were all a very bright orange!

I got the impression that guy was being hugely polite about the room.

Evening all, lovely builder tonight please
