I can't see how Kelly improves this show except that she does a lot of talking!

And the coffee cup under the badly finished desk.

I thought Ricky Gervais would have gone as the clients didn't like his room.

She wasn't, I was a bit surprised that I didn't mind her at all.

I have a feeling that the client's feedback plays a very small part in their decision making!

And he put the chintz in which the home owners and judges clearly did not want or like.

Bit unfair really.

I've been lurking on the wrong thread - glad to see this one's a bit more lively!

Peach? Not for me, I'm afraid. Lovely to eat; decidedly less lovely to look at (reminds me of 1980s bridesmaids dresses!).
Why all the references to it being a 1970s' colour? (by the designer) - surely it's very 1980s.

I liked Danielle's best. What is it with the massive headboards with the other two? And all those ridiculous cushions on the sofa, like a 60-minute-makeover where the bed has heaps of them on too (end up being chucked on the floor/thrown in a cupboard).

Still laughing at the Kelly, fart in a shoe comment!

Tonight I probably liked Daniella's the best even with the finishing, agree with others that the homeowners opinion is rarely as relevant as they'd have you believe, if I recall last seasons winner regularly wasn't loved by the owners.

I'm not sure if Kelly is an improvement, Sophie was more upbeat and seemed to have more of a laugh with Dan.

I was just going to say about last year's winner.

Yes, Sophie brought more fun, Kelly seems to be ready with the snide comment more often. Maybe that's what they wanted. As I said previously, I feel her and Daniel's styles are too similar.

I was surprised Oiver didn't lose out.
Kelly was much better than I thought she'd be.
Looking forward to this evening's programme

Well I wouldn't say Kelly has an abundance of warmth and charisma but at least she gives a proper critique at the end so they know how to improve. Also, must be a big relief not to have the judges, breathing down their necks when discussing the brief. Thought the retro rose design was clever with the hangers, would go well with the whole 70's G Plan look. Poor Daniel and his curly toes at the lace hanging!

I think what they did in 48 hours was pretty good, but the right 2 went through in my opinion.

I hope people on this forum who enjoy this programme( as I have done since it was first broadcast) realise it is becoming more popular.
This then will be the death knell for it as it is bought up by anther channel.
Can we have lots of derogatory remarks and not too many people joining this forum discussion- or we will lose it . Don't tell your friends.
I -like others -hated the thought of Kelly . however actually I did not mind her- that is if she can learn to smile. I feel that the lovely hair takes our eyes away from rather sour expressions.
The other lady was so pleasant and lovely to listen to

I know that chintz was one thing the home owners specifically didn't want, but of the 3 different designs the chintz was the only thing I liked! Even if the headboard was a tad large/overwhelming in terms of the available space in that room.
