Go on holiday? No way! I'm having much more fun watching Brexit implode. Happy New Year! But then as a Remoaner should you not be offering apologies to your other Remoaners for gaining pleasure from seeing, and hoping, their/your country implodes? I always considered self harm was dangerous and not to be encouraged. |

Given that you, a Remoaner, are having such fun watching Brexit allegedly implode are you a masochist or maybe personally immune from the horrors you continually warn of?

Now here's a strange one, considering Brexit is supposed to be putting off people from coming here.
Positive growth forecast for inbound tourism to the UK in 2017 Forecasts from VisitBritain, the national tourism agency, indicate that 2017 is set to be another record year for inbound tourism to the UK. Spending by overseas visitors is predicted to reach £24.1 billion in 2017, an 8% increase on spending this year which is expected to top out at £22.3 billion. The number of overseas visitors to the UK is expected to rise next year to 38.1 million visits, up 4% on 2016 which is likely to see about 36.7 million visits by year end. |

Tourism numbers are down in European countries. What a surprise.
Might have something to do with an epedemic of sexual assault, vehicle mowing down innocents, mass shootings, and the odd bomb. Just a guess, but I think people might feel safer by sticking close to home. |

Still it will please some people that don't want any of those "nasty foreign types" in Britain All airlines reduce capacity in the Winter which is why I said before that O'leary from Ryanair was telling downright lies when he said Brexit meant he would reduce flights this winter from Stansted by 40% purely due to Brexit , firstly we have not left yet and secondly Ryanair cuts flights every winter from Stansted and has been doing since 2007 and 2008 when he cut them by 20% , he then cut them by around 40% each winter since 2009 , so no more cuts that the previous years, just him spouting lies. If you look at other figures from other sources you will see another set say overseas tourist made 2% less holiday visits but 2% more business visits and North American travel to the UK was up by 8% , they all say something different Yes there were cancellations after the Berlin attack and the media having multiple orgasms glorying telling everyone how the UK was at high risk, but that is to be expected . But your agenda of people being racist and not wanting tourists is a fail I am afraid. |

Don't know why anyone should be in the slightest surprised.
If I were a citizen of any other EU country, I'd be giving the UK a giant two fingers. |

So you only go on holiday to places that are part of the same club as you so only the EU ? If people are so petty as to want to shun an entire country because someone does not want to be part of a political union then they have issues .

I expect tourists to the UK to rise over the next 10 years our security services are second to none. We have one of the best intelligence and security services there is. France and Germany wish they did; unfortunately Nicolas Sarkozy disbanded France's elite forces. |

I find this very strange, Ireland's tourism numbers are booming and at an all time high level at 10.5m people for 2016 (11% year on year increase)
You would think a lot of tourists from outside the EU would have done the two countries - North American visitors to Ireland were up 18% in 2016. |
