A moderator called Shamelessness opened a thread on it on the Walford Web site.

coupled with that we have never really heard much about Denise & Kim's Mum until Christmas Day when Denise & Patrick videocalled Kim & Vincent in Montserrat where they are staying with Emerald.

I would say she is definitely coming into the show.

I can definitely see this happen. CriticFan's source seems to be reliable, all the minor references on screen seem to be leading to Emerald's introduction, not quite sure why they would change it to Ada unless they're going to play with matriarchal stereotype and make Emerald an edgy matriarch with a darker history, maybe previous illegal activity made her change her name or be on the run or something? Maybe that's why she's in Montserrat and hasn't been to Walford or at least to the country to avoid being caught? That would be really different and rival the modern matriarchs Zainab, Shirley, Sharon and Kathy (to an extent)

She was previously known as Ada but is now known as Emerald.

I know, sorry I meant changed it from Ada to Emerald. They must have a good reason for this, possibilities of why the name change in my previous post

I loved Claudette.

She could have been great but making her a Killer was the death knell of her as a character I think.

She said it was an accident. Fair enough maybe she shouldn't have got rid of the body but people do panic. She seems to have been a great foster mum whereas Emerald was a dreadful mother.

Looking forward to seeing Emerald's story unravel.

The character doesn't exist. Denise and Kim's mum is called Ada Fox. They can't just chsnge a character's name. As far as I can see the only source is some fan fiction on a forum. There is no official source to say their mother is coming or that there is such a person called Emerald Fox.

Its a bit of a concidence that someone made up a story that Denise and Kims mom would be turning up and then afterwards we have Kim going to visit their mon and she tells her about Denises pregnancy.

Dont forget someone on here said weeks ago that michelle had been recast, that shes now a teacher and had been having an affair with a student. They also said that Grant would be returning. Well Michelle was recast abd her occupation is listed as a teacher on the bbc site. Im not sure that they ever specified before that michelle is now a teacher?

Dona Croll appeared on EE about 10 years ago. Think her character was called Joy Lucas. Also had something to do with Denise.
