Hoping and assuming that we're lucky enough to enjoy a decent standard of living and health and with respect and best wishes to those that don't....the simple things that would make everyday life better for me would be.....

More please, thank you, sorry and excuse me in everyday interactions in shops, public transport etc.

Specifically my day can have the edge taken off it by people dropping or leaving litter and also by showing my pass to bus drivers who don't even look at it....seems rude.
Totally understand that driving in London is no fun and that rude passengers wear out the goodwill of drivers ( likewise rude customers in shops erode the good manners of staff and innocent but polite customers bear the brunt) but it would be nice to wipe the slate clean for 2017 and pepper our interactions with please, thank you, excuse me and sorry where necessary....

Thanks.😀 ....and a Happy New Year.

What would do it for you?

If people could lift their heads up from looking at their mobile phone when walking . I push my grandchild in a buggy on footpaths and spend so much time stopping because some eejit is hurtling towards me without looking and at risk of walking into the buggy
It wouldn't bother me if it was just said eejit that would get hurt but its my baby I worry about if they stumble into her

Being able to drive in a bus lane during rush hour - specifically those bus lanes that you HAVE to move into at some point to be able to get where you are going, but can't get into until about the last 3 metres before a junction so have to queue in another lane of traffic going in a completely different direction until you can legitimately move into the bus lane.

I agree with you.
They would be lucky its you with a buggy.
Its me with a car and its happened a few times when I have had to brake to avoid someone not looking were they are going because they are tapping away on a phone.
Its happened twice with one young girl.

Having my wife back!

She was forced to return to Thailand (I wont go into the whole episode here again).

I am currently going through the process of getting her back here into England legally.
