I'm just wondering how much chocolate, food, and drink we all have leftover from the holidays? Did you buy a lot extra this year? In the fridge at the moment is a small piece of gammon and some drink. The small amount of treats bought before Christmas have all gone!

I guess that any drinks leftover might be good for New Year's Eve.

Lost of chocolates and biscuts left, but we bought for Christmas and New Year so it's only half time.

How could you?!? Strawberry Creams are my favourite, closely followed by Orange Creams....prefer the creams in Quality Street to Roses though

Finished the turkey, sprouts and roast potatoes yesterday. Had left-over roast pork today. Having fish tomorrow and next day.

Left: A large Asda sherry trifle with tomorrow's date. Tub of Heroes and tub of Roses, both unopened. Twiglets, box of dates, salted peanuts, box of Foxes choccy biccies, all unopened.

Half a big tub of humous open. Wonder how long it'll keep.

Masses left as I always over-cater.

Just made a huge turkey stew though, so nothing went to waste. FAR too many chocs left that cannot be ignored.,

Merry Day-after Boxing Day everyone.

Still got some booze left but that's for New Years. Bit of cheese which we are eating Friday and that's pretty much it.

Fry's were owned by Cadbury. Of course, they're both now just Mondelez brand names.

About 1/2 a box of chocolcates.
About 1/2 a yule log.
About 3/4 a box of after 8 mints.

I'm currently eating loads of fruit salads to use up the extra fruit.

Nowadays my xmas booze lasts months because I only have an occasional tipple.

Ate out Christmas Day, snacked in evening. Boxing Day we had finger food - mini spring rolls, that sort of thing which we enjoyed and finished off last night. Today I've finished the pate and Jr's on the last sausage rolls and insisting she wants a curry! Considering she's been flat on her back for most of the last 7 weeks, she's putting a lot away.

I bought 3 bottles of cava to have over the holidays, but every time I think of having a drink I think of the hangover and have a tea instead I shall imbibe on NY, but I imagine some will be left for next year - there's been a bottle of Blossom Hill in the fridge since last Xmas!

Tomorrow back to normal - chicken sausage casserole.

Jr is still working her way through her chocs/sweets.

I miss the days of seeing the metal tins of Roses and Quailty Street. Are they plastic only now?

At one time every garage, shed, kitchen, cubby hole under the stairs had a few metal Roses tins with 'bits' in them. ..........screws, nails, unidentified bits of metal that might come in handy one day .........

Like one of the Steptoe and Son episodes where their trying to find the passport. A few empty tins come flying out from under the stairs!

I might be interested. How much are you offering to pay to have them taken away and disposed of safely.

Leftovers from Christmas dinner are gone but there's loads of sweets and chocolates left which we'll all be still eating in the summer! Still have some loaves of Stollen left unopened.
