Surprised there has been no posts about the wonderful.... family and me with Gordon Buchanan

I love his presenting style and the previous ones, bear, polar bear and wolf were quite excellent.

This time it was the elephant family and me. Whilst IMO it was not as good as the previous episodes, i was still way above average most other programmes on over Christmas

I agree. The programmes he does are great.

He is brilliant, so poignant and sympathetic to both the local people and the animals.
But I must admit that I dreaded watching this as I knew alot about the poaching carnage already.

Elephants could be extinct in the wild by 2030, and cheetahs before that. We are a plague upon the earth.

There is another Gordon Buchanan programme on tonight BBC 2 8pm Lost in the snow, which looks very good
