I keep hearing that Ryan Giggs is favourite to take over as manager when he only has only managed about ten games in his entire managerial career. So i think that would be a bit risky by Swansea yo appoint him. And they dont want to sack another manager this season. The person i think they should appoint is Gary Rowett because i think he deserves to manage in the Premier League

The Bob Bradley thread, which you've posted in twice.

What has the Bob Bradley thread got to do with Swansea appointing their next manager

I know i commented on the thread. But i was just talking about why Bob Bradley was sacked after about three months in job

I could not find the official Swansea thread. So i just created a new one which is about. Who do you think should be the next Swansea manager. I just think it would be much easier for people to comment

If Bradley being hired due to nationality was a poor move, Giggs' name shouldn't even be mentioned. As far as Welshmen go he has a better case but I wouldn't trust Chris Coleman with a transfer budget for a single second.

Gary Rowett shouldn't be unemployed right now so they could do worse than speak to him

Bradley was the Swansea manager, his getting sacked as Swansea manager created a vacancy at Swansea of manager. The mentioned thread contains betting odds and discussion about who Swansea will appoint as manager.

I've got no issue with you making a thread for every new thought, but it's a tad bit mad you genuinely ask that question.

Probably a genuine conundrum for Swansea now. Not that much available from the regular bunch.

I hope the dont look at Harry Redknapp, his time has gone. Pardew their only English alternative if they have been scared off of appointing another bloody naive, ignorant, above his station Jonny foreigner for now...those guys need to know their place, and it ain't in Ingerland.

Note to mods...the above was an attempt at Trumpian wit

True dat!

I feel if Coleman is offered and accepts then it will be for the money, rather than because he is desperate for that job

If they appointed Garry Rowett then at least they'd have a manager who knows the Championship were they to go down!

Just know its going to be Pardew though.

Giggs seemed to reject Swansea last time having met with the owners who going by what Bradley said last night on 5live are the problem.

Well he's made it clear he wants to stay wales manager but to be honest I'm not sure why he's so sort after because his club management career isn't what you'd call good. His % in the 30s. His % has Wales manager is in the 30s too. They could take a chance on Rowett but I'd expect pardew to get it.

Wouldnt surprise me if Coleman took it. I think Wales peaked in the euros and would be pretty amazing if they managed to match it ever again.

I can't see him going to Swansea who are most likely gonna be in a relegation battle this season. He's stated he wants to be at a team who will be in the Champions league and since he's no chance in the prem, he'll have to go abroad. He should have gone to celtic. I think even he'd win Scottish prem and guaranteed CL although he's also guaranteed to exit pretty early.

Coleman has done sweet FA at club level to even deserve another chance as manager to be honest. The BBC are suggesting that Giggs is being ruled out, and are saying it's his lack of experience. I dare say that rules Rowett out for now, as he's got less experience of the Premier League than Giggs.

The BBC are also saying that Coleman is planning on moving abroad for his next managers job, so I'm not even sure he'll want to leave the Welsh job even part time. The only other two Welsh managers available really are Hughes and Pulis, and by available I mean with experience in the league. We've heard nothing in the press about them, but it wouldn't shock me to see either of them be someone totally out of the blue for them to go to.

Really is slim pickings, not too many top level managers out of work at the moment, that is the trouble for Swansea, they are looking at a very bad time, anyone half decent is in a job at the moment.

They should plead with Roy Hodgson

He would be a good option, if of course he wants to get back into the circuit that is being a club manager once again.

... and have the last two England mangers fight off relegation, would really go to show the quality we have in managers for the national side.

Swansea should go back to basics, get an upcoming manager who can develop a squad over the next couple of years. The owners will try to keep them in the Premier League but they might as well go down the route of young manager, if they stay up thats great if not they wont be looking for another manager, like they will be doing if they go for experience.

Gary Rowett seems the one that fits the mold. He can clear the deadwood and be given a blank canvas to shape a new Swansea.

Thats a good option

I remember he saved Fulham from relegation one season. And slso did a good job at West Brom. The time when he was Liverpool was easily forgettable

I'm not anything like being a Swansea fan but I like the sound of this approach. I get so tired of each new manager vacancy being greeted with the same old names on the same old merry-go-round.

There can't be many areas in life where failure at a certain level guarantees you jobs at the same level.

That said, I would be as impatient as the next fan for someone who appeared to have the pedigree at least on paper. Few of us would have the patience to allow someone loose our club who was a clear unknown and therefore 'risk'. The financial rewards make that too risky.
