As for BBC R&D:

http://www.bbc.co.uk/rd/about/partnerships

Mr Bridgen (who can hardly be described as impartial where the BBC is concerned), obviously needs to educate himself as to the purpose of BBC R&D, and how it is funded, and who benefits.
As the biased BBC obviously does not have a clue what impartiality actually means, they must be really well matched.

Before the Referendum, the BBC's pro-EU bias, was obvious to a blind man - & even after the result was known, it seemed their reporters behaved like headless chickens, their pre-programming for a remain result, left them speechless.....mind you, the politicians, were mostly the same.
Democracy comes hard for some folks.....it seems.

For my part, I see so far the lies & silly nonsense of the pro-remain lot, have come to very little, I hope the escape from Europe, by the UK will be a great improvement - of course it will take time, but I am optimistic, that our country will be a better place to live in the long term. I hope you (& the BBC) are too Mossy, because Brexit is going to happen - like it or not.

Your impartiality of course is impeccable.

Wiggins knighthood proves the British media and political system is rotten to the core.

Can you imanine if his name were Borislav Wigginovsky from Russia, and was found to be tooling up with steriod meds just before several major professional cycling races ?

The British media would be up in arms.
And if they were illegal and there was anything improper going on it would be right to do so. However, unless you can prove otherwise, this hasn't happened to Sir Bradley.

The investigations are ongoing by British Cycling and UK Sport, so we shall see.
I acknowledge that some Britiish media have covered this story well since it broke four months ago.

However, if Wiggins had nothing to hide, why did Russian hackers, Fancy Bears, have to release his steroid medication TUE form for anyone to know about it ?

I'd have thought that was obvious, them being Russian and all that implies regarding sporting mischief. A case of 'it's not only us, you know!". They hope.

And didn't they also release similar data relating to many other athletes?

I'm an individual - as I hope you are, not a multi-media broadcaster who claims to be unbiased & even handed.
So why do you take a stance of defending the BBC's actions?
Your sarcastic reaction to my own POV reveals that I'm afraid.

Wiggins signed up to star in The Jump

Don't think that will make BBC news

Was on Sky news though

My own POV (which I suspect is well known on this forum, given my posting history) is irrelevant to the point, Which is that you're taking an extremely selective view of the BBC's news output and using that to accuse it of bias. If you can't see the irony in that, regardless of political standpoint, there's little hope for you whichever way you voted. It's not about being left or right or in or out, it's about being self-aware.

And as for me being sarcastic, it's my initial response to people posting things which are patently silly, regardless of the exact nature of what's been posted. I consider this a character flaw but I have been unsuccessful so far in eliminating it. Can't imagine why...

Because medical records are supposed to be confidential.
