What we ALL need to do is send the BBC a comment asking them to bring it back for a series. The only thing I would change is put it on BBC ONE not four and put it on Friday or Saturday evening. If it's on BBC1 it will get way more viewers.
So much better than Never mind the Buzzcocks. It's just a normal quiz with people answering questions without trying to get a cheap laugh or acting stupid. Also it didn't drag or feel dated. Anyway this is the link if anyone wants to contact the BBC asking for a series. We've got to let them know we want it back or they won't bring it back but I reckon we need to ask them to bring it back on BBC1 maybe on Friday or Saturday evening. https://ssl.bbc.co.uk/faqs/forms/?ei...&uid=928614277 |

Just caught up with this on iplayer.
Absolutely loved it..... as others have said, let's hope the Beeb give it a new series. Has Toyah had dental work? It looked very odd. |

Its a big yes from me too, and it seems we all loved it ! Would love to see it back for a full series, especially as Buzzcocks is no more. There is a huge market for a show like this. If it does come back I just pray they keep it 80's only. I know thats asking too much from the bbc.

Bleedin dull, jacked in after about 10-15 minutes, having reacquainted myself with a few faces I hadn't seen in years, I lost interest.

This could work really well being broadcast concurrently with TOTP on BBC Four which is currently showing 1980s episodes.

Really enjoyed the revival of Pop Quiz. Being a real 80s music fan I did pretty well.
I'm not sure about a full series though. If it was purely on the same era then sure but if brought back on BBC1 or BBC2 it would be ruined and include X Factor non-entities and be focussed more on the current charts. |

totally agree, there was something for everyone in the 80s, a real eclectic mix
bottom line is - its down to personal taste. |

As for another comment about the eighties being a more eclectic mix, i think the seventies actually possessed more variety overall. All periods should be included in the show, i say, but perhaps make the emphasis on the sixties, seventies and eighties. Also that would be good because you could broaden the questions and guests, given a bigger time span, without it getting too stale. The idea of only having guests from a particular era would be limiting in the long run. |

Liked it a lot, a real trip down tv memory lane for me.....
I hope they return it as a series, i'll be watching it. As long as it sticks to 70's, 80's and 90's. If it becomes about stuff from the last decade or two, then it wont be for me. |

It would be good to have different "decade " shows.
A 60's show with 60's performers as guests, 70's, with stars from the 70's etc. Probably best to stick to 60's ,70's and 80's. Mike Read did well, don't forget he will be 70 next May. |

BIB. Nice to see people answering (or trying to answer) the questions rather than being stupid. I liked the occasional anecdote. LIked OMD being mistaken for Bananarama. ![]() If it comes back, I hope they keep with the music celebs and don't bring in any of the Mock the Week comedians who hog the spotlight. Quote:

That's the reason I didn't watch it - I expected the usual boring faces trying to turn a programme into their own 'comedy' vehicle. After reading the opinions on here though I shall definitely watch the repeat.

Toyah had a facelift, she's been quite open about it. I'm not sure about dental work though, but it does look like she's had some.

I think it should come back on BBC ONE on Saturday evening prime time and to be a success on BBC One on a Saturday evening slot it needs to appeal to everyone and to do that it needs more modern artists as well as artists from all different eras. |

Enjoyed this, remember the original. 80s is my decade.
They did actually spend 10 mins before the first question was asked and the scoring was all over the place - individual round answered by another team member and asked for "Artist only" yet accepted song as an answer for another round but it's mostly for fun I guess. |
