New Years Eve is just any other day to me.
I find nothing to celebrate in the fact that another year of my life has passed!
The idea is celebrating a new year new start...

But the way I look at it, if someone needs a new start every time a new year comes around, I feel sorry for them.

We are going to have a nice meal and watch a good film. Maybe a bottle of sparkling wine we have left over.

I thought about inviting some people over but I can't really be bothered to host a party. Now we have kids and have been through plenty of New Years eves it just doesn't seem worth the effort.

What are you planning to do?
Going to a house party with my boyfriend at our friend and his wife's flat. Just a smallish group of us, playing silly games and having some drinks. Boyfriend got a game for Christmas where you play songs with Kazoos and the other person has to guess it so probably will take that along

Into town, hopefully a gorgeous meal. Hotel booked since the summer. champers on ice, and watching the fireworks.
