True, I agree with you. How much has Kerry got? She is going SPEND! SPEND! SPEND! like Vivian Nicholson.
It didn't tell us, but more than £3,000 though she's acting like she's got a million pounds staying in the honeymoon suite of th B&B.

She'll have nothing again in a few months.

Whatever she got was too much she didn't deserve a penny if anything she should be paying the Sharma's for the criminal damage she caused in the factory.

I hate this storyline. Hate it, hate it, hate it. They've turned Kerry from a funny, chaotic but basically warm person into a walking cliche of Chav Scrounger.

It's so bloody lazy and stereotypical. Who's in the storyliner department these days? Are they all just posh boys and gals churning out this tabloid garbage? Or are they just dumb and lazy themselves? Or do they think we are? They can **** off, to be honest.

As you can tell, it's got right on my tits.
It's down to Shameless I suspect They think everyone poor is either conning the benefits agency or living off stolen stuff/ money. Probably never had to sign on or scrape by on a low income, doing two or three jobs, in their puff and don't t realise that lots of people survive honestly in those situations.

It just shows my age that I know who Vivien Nicholson is (was?)!

Viv Nicholson won the football pools some time in the 60s I think it was and she spent spent spent until it was all gone and very quickly. When she won she famously said she was going to "spend spend spend".
Actually when we did a visit to Liverpool earlier this year and visited a museum there was a newspaper clipping about all this and actually it was Viv's husband that had the win.

Her obituary was in the Guardian last year.

Morrissey was a fan of Vivian Nicholson . I only know of her from the photograph of Nicholson that he used on the sleeve of The Smiths' single "Heaven Knows I'm Miserable Now".

Oh yeah, I think I saw something about her in the paper when she died. I think a lot of lottery and pools winners do that. They can't cope with having shedloads of money.Mi d you, ' there' s nae pickets in a shroud'

What really got me was that Rishi smiled at her in the pub as she was gloating over her payout... like, what the hell?!

I know things are about to get worse in the Kerry department in the coming weeks but I fear they have gone too far now and no matter what they do, the character is ruined beyond repair.
My theory is that he was happy to see Joanie back. He was discussing singles night, asking who was going, and looking at Joanie.

Or possibly I'm making this up in my own head since I want so badly to see Rishi get a SL and Joanie get redeemed.

As a Liverpudlian her story was quite big and reported widely; she was not wise however!

What they've done to Kerry is atrocious. She was never really a favourite of mine, but she was bearable and occasionally, amusing. Now I just can't stand to watch her.

What they've done is turn her back into the character that arrived in the village a few years ago. One that I absolutely detested with every fibre of my being.

She's reverted to that and I wouldn't be sorry to see her go in her current condition.

Dreadful storyline. On what basis would she win this case ffs? Is it the fact that the roof should've been safe to walk on in the first place? Despite the fact nobody should even be on there?? I just don't get it.

And yet you hear of cases like this in real life, thieving skanks breaking into places then suing for injuries. The worlds gone f**king mad

A few months? Few days more like, with that dozy bint!

As others have said though, it's a shame they're regressing the character back to how she was, which was beyond annoying!

Yep, they've tossed years of character development out of the window and for what?

I suppose we will be expected to feel sorry for her when she...

Spoiler
