I missed bits because of interruptions - how did Martin find out about the bribe, please?

Why would anyone put up with bullying in the workplace in 2016? Why don't EE give a number people can call if they're bullied at work? The energy providers wouldn't condone the treatment Lee has been getting and most senior managers would be scared of their company being sued if anyone was bullied and harassed.

Lee has a supportive, loving family, and work experience - in the army and in his parents' pub, on the market. Why would a call-centre be his only option?

And I agree, Whitney could do more than work in the pub.

I'm hoping Dot's pussy is well-looked after. EE don't have a good record on pets. Abi's supposed to be a veterinary nurse, but she put a tomcat in a cardboard box to transport him? Why haven't they discussed neutering? ”

Max hasn't been back that long. I'm sure Martin will do it with a rusty kitchen knife.

Thanks for the thread VG. Lee doesn't really interest me but that was very well done there.

I'm not sure myself but I guess Sharon told him. I don't know who else knows.

I have to say that was a fantastic episode tonight. The stories are all brewing up nicely and we're seeing drama unfold on screen.

Lee - this is a man on the verge of a nervous breakdown. He is on edge, he is stressed and is very depressed. Yes he made a couple of daft mistakes with the robbery and theft but his lies, and the pressure from work in terms of the bloodclaat Oz and his boss has got to him. I am thankful he did get through on the skin of his teeth but it's not for him. An ex-army guy who is by law a trained killer treated like crap by chancers. The other two must have been weak at work that were Oz's accomplice's or they found out the cops charged them. Danny-Boy Hatchard has stepped up to the plate and delivered a winning performance with the depression and anxiety portrayal. Credit needs to be given here. I think he has gone missing - open to a return in about two years or so by being found in a shelter by one of our older characters. The parking attendant lady - I think she'll be someone deeply concerned and there is a reason why they've bought an actor like her in for this storyline.

R+R - Jack is an idiot. I kind of hope the two sisters do a runner and jilt him at the aisle. Roxy is doing the best she can - let kids be kids ffs. If Ricky wants to get sick eating chocolate let him - saves him destorying Ronnie's dress. I do hate the way they've made Ronnie a weaker female around Jack - hope she breaks out of her shell soon before the invetiable exit.

Max - I reckon him and Michelle will get it on - it just seems too obvious. Martin, yes I can understand his insecurities but I think Stacey has moved on from that, and is probably glad she has someone else to talk to. Can't believe Sharon told him the truth - how is Phil going to react? I do think he has turned a corner...to a point, but this does scream the long game.

Dot and Willy - I do think they are cute scenes and it has made her happy - you would think Abi supposedly a vet would know what's best. Glad she can keep the little cat. I do think June has got a bit more mileage in her.

10/10 - so brilliant tonight.

Great episode. Lee is confirmed to be in the new year's episode. I think that the ticket woman will talk him out of suicide tomorrow and Lee reveals the truth about the robbery to Mick before Ronnie's wedding.

Stacey is getting on my nerves lately, of course Martin is not gonna like you hanging around with Max. She can be a right bitch at times

She's the only friend Max has, should she turn her back on him too. They've done nothing wrong, Max has done nothing wrong, yet he's being treated like a leper, even by his own family. Martin needs to be more trusting, Stacey didn't sulk when he was always hanging around with his ex.

Exactly.

They have been through loads together and will always have a bond because of Bradley who was going to bring Lily up as his own daughter.

Martin is being OTT jealous. You're right Stacey didn't sulk when he was hanging out with Sonia. In fact Martin was said to have had an affair while married to Sonia so he is hardly whiter than white.

Bradley worked at a bank off the square, Max was a financial advisor when he first arrived, I think there have been a few more over the years but we don't often see them at their workplace so I guess in respect to actually seeing characters at work regularly Lee is the first

yes, definitely - apart from - well suppose it doesn't really count: when Kat was searching for Stacey, sitting on the bus, and discovering this hair dressers where Stacey worked at the time (stacey having been off screen for quite a while), on some high street somewhere

I'm glad she getting a bit of her personality back, she has at times been a bit of a wet blanket, that was never Stacey style.
