I think Lee's storyline is working really well, but it's going to get very boring soon. Because we all know he's leaving, it makes it much harder to actually care about what's going to happen to him. If they'd have kept Lee's exit a secret, the story wouldn't seem like it's dragging on so much.

I thought Lee would be gone by now, does anybody know when he actually goes?

Easter! I really don't see how the storyline could go on for that long. I also don't understand why his exit was announced so early.

Please for the love of all that is holy...somebody tell us when this character leaves. An absolute drip.

is he still filming? if so, I gather they will be doing end Feb start March when they start again after Xmas. Also think I read somewhere his current contract expired in the spring, so yes, he could carry on till Easter I suppose - in EE time they only have 1½ months to go till it's Easter (middle of April)

He originally started filming mid Feb 2014 so it would make sense that his contract will expire then.

From the amount of maternity leave Kellie was taking she would be due to return around the time/shortly after.

But then its not known. They could have him leave early

I have said Spring all along but the majority thought xmas day, then with the brief spoilers I wondered if he could go tomorrow. Seems not but will be a suprise if he does

yes, seems right - so by all accounts it could be an Easter exit - unless cast lists are one big con because he's still there 13th Jan. And if Easter, and Whitney is pregnant, she'll be halfway through the pregnancy by then

No way can they string this out until Easter. Or put it another way, I can't bear the thought of his miserable face bringing doom and gloom for another four months!

Also how on earth can they string this out till Easter. He was relying on the "robbery" money to pay the rent and his monthly loan payments. What is he going to do next month and the next etc. Who else can he rob or what other dumb plan will he come up with to get cash in the meantime. Its a ludicrous storyline.

Also, are we seriously meant to believe that the police would not tell Mick that his own son had been arrested in connection with the robbery. They would be questioning everyone in the family again after this happened.

Maybe Lee has been given a stay of execution and SOC hopes we all forget he's supposed to be leaving...

You need a pay off on these storylines of you risk people losing interest

There have been a number of pay offs already including the suprise Vic Robbery.

It is more realistic that it is a long storyline

The pay off people want is Lee's grissly end !

You might as well stop watching then cos that is not going to happen

I hope he goes missing . This way he could return one day or the police could find his body in a few months/years .

Revealing Lee's involvement with the Vic robbery so soon was in my opinion a bit of a mis-step unless he's going soon. It's cost him all sympathy that my family had for him and so we don't care about his on-going struggle.
