On the week commencing 9th Jan, Mick finally tells Shirley that Buster cheated on her… and that he suspects that Buster got Denise pregnant. Shirley then confronts Denise about it and Denise gives birth later that week.

I'm surprised I never thought about this. I'd have expected Mick to be suspicious after the baby was born though if anything - Phil and Buster look kinda similar.

I just assumed the Buster storyline was going to be forgotten about. However I don't think that Kathy will admit to the affair seeing as no one suspects her about it.

Mick and Lee knew that Buster had an affair, but not with who. Since Denise is being suspicious about the baby's father, Mick thinks that it's Buster. However it's definitely Phil's baby as Denise and him got together when drunk, onscreen nearly 9 months ago.

Veey interseting bringing Shirley into the plot

After being used a lot in 2014 and 2015, Shirley hasn't had many story lines of her own this year. Her last duff duff was today last year when she caught Roxy shouting at Dean to stop. From memory this year I only remember her neglecting Buster, worrying about Phil and being a part of Dean's storyline.

I just looked at the cast lists for Friday 13th December and it's likely that Sharon and Phil may find out about Denise's baby

Me too and we can predict their reactions to the truth but hopefully they'll remain oblivious after the birth. I think Shirley will find out but keeps it a secret for Dee. If Phil and Sharon find out, I fear there'll be a bitter custody battle
