New character ideas
EE needs total newbies, ones who are not related to any of the existing characters in any form.
I wouldn't mind a decent bitch tbh. Patrick could do with a mate or two his age, Shirley, Kathy and Carmel are all single so they could bring in a love interest for them.

Hollyoaks could do with introducing new characters that are NOT McQueens. That family needs cutting down that being added to!
I would actually introduce a new lesbian couple to the show (they are actually under represented on the show) and have them buy the restaurant off Marnie (she can bugger off after finding out about Mac and Lisa) and they would stay completely faithful and neither would be tempted at all

EE needs (but never seems to get) a long-term couple who work in the City. Middle class women on the show tend to be token psychopaths (May, Stella) or don't ban around long enough to be developed into proper characters (Sadie, Vanessa).

Hollyoaks is one of the only soaps that doesn't really feel like it needs new characters. There have been 14 new characters this year and only 3 of them McQueens. Though I do think the new McQueens are terrible
