I hope not....Judging by the note I would think it's more likely that he'll do an Ian and just disappear. With Ronnie and Roxy dying on NYD, killing off Lee would be too much
He doesn't disappear yet, from the trailer I watched the other day it has a scene with him in the kitchen at the vic with Mick saying to him "please tell me this is a wind up" so Mick finds out what has been going on.

I'm wondering if he will go to prison for the robbery at the Vic and commit suicide in prison. It could highlight the lack of mental health support available to people in prison.

Unfortunately, it seems from photos and the trailer that this is not the case, but it should be.”

Im not sure, I think it would work better that way. Emmerdale did similar recently with Holly Bartons Drug OD and it worked because it was a shock.
At least not this week, he's at the Branning wedding (seen photos), seen at the Vic talking to his dad in a trailer (yet unaired scenes) and is cast on the credits into Jan at least.
I hope not. He is ex army and could surely become physically aggressive if he needed to be. I'm surprised he hasn't beaten up those guys at the call centre.

That always happens though in soaps. Departed characters make less of an effort to make it to their relatives funerals than you would buying a pair of socks in the boxing day sales.
"She can't make it, couldn't get a flight"
"He'd loved to have been at his mum's funeral but...you know...stuff"
