Expelling a couple of diplomats. Obama has been way too nice with his foreign policy, one of the reasons why the nutcase Trump is now in charge.

The world's biggest terrorists (Americans) bullying our close friends the Russians.
Where ever there's conflict in the world you know the Americans are not too far away.

First Israel and now Russia. Obama is blatantly trying to cause as much trouble as he can before retiring to the lap of luxury.

It's frankly juvenile and dangerous.

Best you can do I guess when you don't have much in the way of definitive evidence.

There was of course documented cases of machines changing Trump votes changing to Clinton votes but lets ignore that. It's only the Russians when Clinton loses right?

there was one case of that happening and it was ruled out as being down to the voting machine by the officials on scene and almost certainly user error

the hacking also had nothing to do with the voting itself

the consensus that the russians were involved in widespread hacking has cross-party support so it is not a partisan issue either

so apart from getting those things completely wrong your post was very accurate

Perhaps you were under the impression that Obama is smart because he is a lawyer and attempts to exude confidence at every opportunity?

I am sure Obama means well but he has been out of his depth intellectually from day 1. He is just another good actor - there is nothing of substance there. Even Erdogan has more brains.

BIB - have you got a link to back that up as it was not what John McCain was saying earlier today (he was being far more cautious)

Let's hope the Democrats never get into power again.

Warmongering Obama and his elitist cronies are dangerous. If he wasn't on his way out, I think a World War 3 would be a distinct possibility.

Trump understands the heart and minds of Putin, the American people and Brexiteers in the UK.

It isn't just a 'couple' of diplomats though - it is 35... and the closure of two Russian compounds in the US, and sanctions against the GRU, FSB and companies that equipped them. That's fairly big stuff in diplomatic terms, especially as he said they would take other steps, including 'unpublicised' actions.

A 'weak response' is saying 'we ought to get on with our lives', because computers are, like, complicated and 'nobody knows exactly what’s going on.' But that is what the next four years will be like.

Should we not try to make friends with Russia instead of being determined to be as antagonistic as possible.

People need to accept that Russia is a very different country to ours and we've got to make the best of it.

Would you make friends with someone who burgled your house? Yes, Russia is different - but that doesn't mean we should let them do whatever they damn well like outside their borders.

Is this referring to the DNC hack? Where it was proved that the info about corruption was correct? People get hacked all the time. Where is the evidence it was Russia?

You forget to mention how it was leaked that America was hacking EVERYONE!!! Having access to Merkels phone / peoples private accounts. I remember that was a scandal and nobody started throwing out sanctions to the US.

You know how someone is striking a cord? The whataboutisms come a'flying. The FBI and CIA have both concluded, with many other intelligence services, that there was Russian involvement in the election which swayed the outcome.

"BUT BUT what about Americaaaaaa?", says every shill ever.

Putin's cronies hacked into Demoratic Party's infrastructure and probably swayed an election.

He is laughing at this weak response.

Finally got the link to work. That is not what i saw earlier. In what I saw there were three politicians standing up, McCain, another man and a woman and what he was saying was not the same as he says in that interview. Still a politician saying different things to different audiences is hardly new is it .....
