Agree. He seems to manage the balance of good choreography and making it enjoyable for his partner.
Agreed with that - also he puts quirky stuff into what would otherwise be bland rountines like the cycling in Daisy's VW, creates beautiful waltzes and makes mad shit like doing sambas dressed as mummies work. He also comes across the nicest guy in the world which was reinforced this year by being crowned the nicest them of all by his fellow pros (along with Janette) the Booth of Truth on ITT.

04 = Natalie Lowe = 1158pts
In 4th place just missing out of the top 3 (well by 48pts) is Natalie. Natalie joined Strictly in 2009 and in her debut year got her best result when she partnered Ricky Whittle into 2nd place. Since then her next best result was the following year where she finished in 4th place with Scott Maslan. After that things got rocky and has never finished higher than 7th. However in that space she had a year out due to injury and a couple of duffers. This year she partnered Greg... and I did think at one point that they could win and have a 'journey' however it wasn't meant to be as they were eliminated at Blackpool. It feels odd that Natalie has never won and she seems to put a lot into the show/ the choreography, I actually think she is one of the better teaches and seems to be able to adapt the content depending on the celebs weaknesses/ strengths which not all the pros seem to do.
It nice to see in a year when there suddenly seemed to a lot of brickbats flying in the direction of Natalie and she got accused of being a self-centred predatory cougar that there is still at least some respect for her out there. Sometimes success can as hard to cope with as disaster and I think a degree of success seems to have bought out people who don't like her as she was untouchable when she dealt graciously with what many pros would regard as disaster. I agree with a lot of what you say here and I keep hoping that one day her ship does come in and she finds the right bloke who can take her all the way.

I some ways I agree that it was inexperience at working around the less able which meant his covering techniques were so counter-productive but I do think that Giovanni does have an ego the size of a small planet which didn't help.
I think Giovanni had a bit of a false perspective from his first series. An average ability celeb holding down a day job is the Strictly bread and butter - above average with time is the golden egg - and it's how you deal with the slings and arrows of average that tends to dictate popularity.

Very pleased with that result, Oti was the standout pro for me this year in terms of dancing, choreography and teaching, and I loved her partnership with Danny and their interviews on ITT as well

And Aljaz has been my favourite male pro for a long time now Katya's had a great debut, I hope she's back and gets a contender this year!

Natalie's nudged Gorky out of top 4, at least!
I'm a bit surprised by that - Natalie was a bit marmite on the forum this series, obviously a lot of people adore her but there were a few who didn't think she was particularly engaging with Greg - I think she's a wonderful dancer and I've met her a few times and she's always been lovely, but I found her partnership with Greg disappointing, it didn't sparkle as I hoped it would and I wasn't a huge fan of her choreography this year.

LOL Fantatic Danny stans rigging the vote <3! I do adore Oti though. More choreography like hers please!
I hardly think it's necessary to make completely baseless accusations of vote-rigging! Oti won because more people put her high up their lists, which is reflective of how much people liked her this year - which is nothing to do with Danny!

I think you've hit the nail on the head there except that how you deal with a duffer is a test too.

Very very pleased with this result - Oti and Aljaz are my two favourite pros and while Aljaz got my 15 points, Oti certainly earned every bit of this victory following her outstanding partnership with Danny this year.

Natalie is my third favourite pro so well done to her on her credible 4th place finish. Of the newbies, both Gorka & Katya made an indelible mark on their first series and deservedly round out the Top 5.

Thank you so much for all your hard work with this yohinnchild. Having compiled the recent "Dances of Series 14" and "The Winner's Winner" polls, I fully appreciate how difficult and time-consuming it can get. You have done a truly wonderful job here and very much look forward to this year's re-incarnation!

Agree. He seems to manage the balance of good choreography and making it enjoyable for his partner.
This is EXACTLY why Aljaz is, far and away, my favourite male pro (though being very easy on the eye doesn't hurt!!!)
