Hi, folks, recently purchased a 49" Sharp LC-49CFG6001K tv and was looking for any other owners that are looking and could compare the best pic and sound settings.

Picture settings are personal as are the sound settings, what looks/sounds good to one person may not look/sound good to another, so its rather pointless copying these settings from other users, just adjust the set until you're happy with it.

If you want an accurate picture you can achieve this by using a calibration disc, this will guide you through the basics and help you get the best out of what you have.

As with most TV's today the audio is pretty weak, I doubt the TV has the quality or adjustment there to produce decent audio, you'll be able to alter the sound slightly by adjusting bass/treble but that's about it.. If you are not happy with the sound, you can upgrade the audio very cheaply by purchasing a pair of PC speakers or a sound bar.
