Brilliant episode, see EastEnders don't need explosions, firer's, car crashes ect to be top drama.

Danny-Boy was amazing tonight, the best he has been, I felt so sorry for him, and Karen has obviously lost a son to suicide. Brilliant scenes with Lee and Karen.

Glenda and Danny back.

Max is hurting himself.

Best episode for a while, imo.

EE like ending the year with fantastic episodes like tonight. The last episode of 2015 was when Shirley tried drowning Dean and Linda confronted Dean who admitted to raping her.

Over the past few months they have hidden some secrets. Max wants to forgive Phil. Probably because Phil has distorted so many female life's

What a wonderful episode. Danny Boy Hatchard was incredible. I really enjoyed all of it.

And I'm really sad that Roxy's going and I don't even know why. She's never been a favourite of mine. That said, I've felt for a long time that Rita Simons has been massively underrated as an actress and has outacted Sam Womack since the latter's return.

Ironically enough, one of the potential warning signs of a person committing suicide is that a person who has seemed hopeless and sad suddenly becomes relaxed and happy. Because they know/think they'll soon be out of the pain.

Well that is going to be easy

But seriously he knows if he tells the truth then the whole family will disown him. And also the end of his marriage

I sincerely hope that him looking at that card at the end was a sign that he will.

I quite like it, It helps keep people interesting sometimes you would start dropping off with too many silent scenes, The Music keeps you hooked.

It isn't being wrapped up just because he gets a duff-duff doesn't mean it's ending.

Cos he is a mitchell

Mitchells are not perceived to be weak. Did you see him in the counselling session he had for the suitability to donate his liver ?

But given how he was in prison for killing hev you would think they would give them therapy inside

When everyone was talking about Danny turning up

I thought Danny Moon had come back and was not killed off in the first place

We would encourage any viewers or readers who have been touched by Lee's story to get in touch with Samaritans, who can listen and offer confidential support.

You can call Samaritans free of charge on 116123, email jo@samaritans.org or find the details for your local branch at www.samaritans.org. Calls to Samaritans' helpline do not show up on phone bills.

Wow I actually cried at Lee I could understand where he was coming from. And I can't even remember the last time i cried at eastenders.
And Max self harming didnt see that coming, but his attitude makes more sense now. Ive thought for a while self harming would be a good story for eastenders to cover, and doing it with Max like this is a stroke of brilliance for several reasons imo.
Roxys drug use must have something to do with her and ronnies exit, else there wouldnt be a reason for it really.
I dont think lee's story is over i think he will seek help now.
Excelent episode maybe the best ive seen this year, i prefer character driven drama so probably why. If this is the sort of stuff SOC has planned then we may be in for a treat.

Since this is the last episode of 2016 I would like to say thank you for helping me get through this crap year. Although you have not helped directly but listened when I spoke a few months ago. I am doing a lot better now though I worry I could have a relapse

Very powerful episode. Blown away. What a way to end 2016! Fantastic stuff by Danny-Boy, Lauren Klee, Toby Frow and Sally Rogers.

Jake Wood continues to impress. Welcome back Max.

Here’s to a great 2017!
