I blame modern society for this. We've a heartless government picking on the vulnerable in complicit with the press, a society where if you make one mistake you're a failure and you're a scrounger and this has dehumanised a lot of people.

In lees scenes where the drunken git is doing it I'm actually thinking about complaining.
Would have been funny if his phone was on vibrate, and it vibrated him ower the edge when Fits message came through

Here we get to the purpose of this storyline, to quite rightly highlight the awareness of depression and suicide in men.
