Danny- Boy has really played out this storyline well.

I wonder if SOC made the wrong decision in axing Lee? In hindsight he should have axed Johnny.

Exactly, He lets Oz walk all over him and doesn't have the intelligence to get his own back on his with snide, putdowns. Having a dippy mother who treats him as a baby, thick dad who gets through the day with mockney cliches and patter and a wife who really doesn't understand how to put the brakes on spending doesn't help his case.

Lee committed acts of criminality so however acute his depression seemingly is, most people in his shoes wouldn't rob from their community nor put their families at risk anymore than people without depression.

Back in 2014, there was a fight between Ben Mitchell and Lee. Lee continued to batter Ben long after it had become clear that Ben had had enough.

It was followed by a scene in which, back at the Queen Vic, Lee broke down, speaking to his mother about an incident from his army days in which he was in a fight with another soldier. The red mist has descended and Lee had almost killed the other soldier.

I think that it is a safe bet that Lee's current storyline is heading towards a confrontation between Lee and Oz that results in the manslaughter of Oz.

Who cares, just let him hurry and kill himself already and spare us his horrible character.

Killing people remotely with a weapon who you never have to see face to face is very different from squaring up to somebody and fighting with your bare hands. I wouldn't say being a soldier these days and being a coward are mutually exclusive things, put it that way. Anyway, wasn't he crying and wanting to leave the army when he was on leave from it? Not that I blame him, I would be the same.

Wow some of the stereotyping and judgemental comments in this thread are unbelievable.

No he wasn't. He was exactly the same as he is now ("big girls' blouse" sums it up perfectly), except he wore a uniform.

OK he's depressed. Most people with depression do not turn ino nasty criminals.

I agree. Lee is mentally ill and its very sad, he deserves compassion not critism.

Oh well that's OK then. Come across as a pathetic, spineless fool, get some lowlives at work to go into your home tooled up and wearing balaclavas then terrorise his own family.

The producers could have made Lee worthy of compassion had they given him a self-harm storyline. They've made him look like a contemptible scumbag. People with depression and even schizophrenia I have known would never stoop to the level Lee has.

i agree with you. Most people with depression are much more likely to harm themselves. Why has noone in his family picked up that he is still suffering and it hasn't just gone away?

Getting into debt is one thing but Lee doing anything with Oz or letting him know where he lives seems really implausible.

Yes he is violent by nature. He severely beat Ben up that time for being rude to Johnny then nearly hitting Nancy in the process. So this being to scared to stand up to Oz is beyond ridiculous.
