1. Does the PAYT charge comes out of line rental, if so, does it run out like mobile pay as you go?

2. What if I don't want Sky Talk, but only Sky Broadband?

You pay line rental and a charge for broadband both now put together as one charge like the rest of ISP's. PAYT is free apart from any calls you make and no it doesn't run out.

You need a phone line to get broadband with Sky.

If I make a call with PAYT, how will I be charged?

I know that I need a phone line, but I don't want Sky Talk Pay As You Talk.

i presume you get charged the same way as another other company will charge you, it gets taken out of your bank on your next monthly payment to sky.

sky do not say much about it to be honest, so not even how much it cost per minute. if you are not going to use the landline phone then this PAYT is the best way to go.
Line rental goes up and we get less for it

It depends on how many calls you intend to make as to what call package you need. Pay as you talk is the cheapest if you are only going to make an odd call now and then.
