forgive me if I've spelt his name incorrectly. I have heard him cover for Jeremy Vine and yes as a talk show host he can hold his own. but I feel this weeks 09.30-12.00 slot was appalling. He sounds out of his comfort zone as a "DJ" the songs were cut short and I feel there could have been more suitable choices with more knowledgeable DJs out there to fill in for The Bruce.

Sorry, but totally disagree. Very little chat and a good mix of acts. A pleasant change from the usual. The choice of tracks was not his. He referred to the playlist being put together by Phil Swerne and one other.
Good job that we're all different.

He sounds stiff and awkward enough on Radio Four and a total fish out of water on Radio Two. Why do they use him?

He did sound out of his comfort zone and certainly didn't satisfy mine

I think he should stick to covering when Vine is off.

Why even that? He does not sound comfortable.
