Just watching the Dam Busters on the ITV it's a good film. I was just wondering how long before someone complains about the name of Guy Gibson dog.

The dogs grave is at RAF Scampton, with a headstone featuring his name, which was a common name for a black dog in that era.

N.igger! There that wasn't so hard. And used without any trace of racism. Aunty DS don't like it though. |

It was going to be renamed Digger in a proposed remake of the film, but that still hasn't happened.

http://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england...shire-13727908 I don't like the word or would use the word but sadly in the past it was frequently used. |

Oh this again. The snowflake brigade? What about the Daily mail brigade who get offended by the flash of a tit or someone says the F word? Hypocrisy seems to have been in full overdrive in 2016.

You can't airbrush history and shouldn't even try!
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/******_(dog) My goodness! Even DS censors the name and deforms the link so that it doesn't work. (It removes the " ) " ) |
