Bluetooth Issue.
Recently was brought some Wireless Philips Headphones SHB8850NC. Ive tried inserting a Bluetooth Transmitter into the headphone Jack on My Toshiba 32 inch TV. I also have a bluetooth transmitter coming from the headphone jack on my headset. I get sound from the TV but i am not able to control the Volume either from the headset or the Virgin TV Remote. In the setting on the Tv i have it set to Lineout. Any suggestions also do i really need a transmitter coming from my headset as i thought once i had paired it through the TV that would be it.

As the 'phones are already Bluetooth enabled, you only need one transmitter from the TV (either line-out or headphone socket), and simply pair your headphones to that.

Thats what i thought it doesnt appear to work with just one Bluetooth transmitter from the TV Headphone jack. Oh well.

Have you tried an ordinary set of headphones (non-bluetooth) to see if the socket is working correctly?
also... are you sure both bluetooth gadgets you have actually are 'transmitters'?. One could be a receiver (especially if bought together), or they could be switchable to be 'either - or'. I have a switchable type here (like this one http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/222202326678) and it works fine in a TV using bluetooth headphones. |

I've tried and failed to get this to work on my TV too. I use ordinary wireless headphones which can be bought from home bargains for £8.99. I think these are better than Bluetooth as the range is greater. I can be doing bits and pieces all over the house and garden and still be in range.

Thanks for feedback I will look into buying a new pair. The headphones work fine with my iPad Air and phone.
