Staying in will be in bed but no doubt the fireworks will wake me up,been there done that with going out on New Year's Eve ,not worth the hassle or cost

Staying in as I have done for the past several years.

I will probably give Jools a miss this year and watch Robbie Rocks Big Ben - which at least is a live show.

Staying in but I'll be having a few drinks with family.

I can't be bothered going out celebrating. The pubs are always heaving and some places charge just to get in - and that's on top of the already overpriced NYE drinks.

I don't get the fuss anyway - all we're celebrating is a date change.

Staying in alcohol free.

Unless my best friend phones at the last minute like a few years ago and asks me to go to her house then I may go still alcohol free though.

Although I've chosen the third option, I will stop up to see in the New Year. There wasn't a staying in alcohol free option for that.

I've always been aware it's not a live show, but recording a new years show over 3 weeks in advance seems kind of silly to me.

I never realised it wasn't live ,I did think all those stars who play on he's show must be paid shit loads for being there on New Year's Eve ,I will never watch hes show again ,feel tricked lol

Husband working and I'm staying in.

We will, however, be out in the pub most of New Years Day.

I'm out with a couple of mates at a soul/house music bash near where my mate lives.
First time I've been out partying on NYE for about 10 years so fancy a change.
My daughter at her dads for night so it's better than staying home alone

Working Hogmanay then off for 5 days after

Staying in. New Year's Eve was killed off where I live as soon as pubs started issuing tickets so that you have to stay in the same pub all night. It used to be brilliant before that.

One of these days that will happen and then what will they do?
I'll watch it though and cringe through the interviews. Always good music to be had though I haven't looked to see who's performing this year.

I'm going out but only to spend it at a family party so staying in really. Certainly won't be alcohol free!!

Planning to come back from the football get a takeaway in and have a couple of drinks.

Bed by midnight, haven't been out for New Year for years. Harry Potter is on tv too, so will watch that with the cat. I didn't even realise it was New Year's eve tomorrow until this afternoon though.

I was ment to be going out but I don't have any money so I will probably buy some snacks and find something to watch or do.

My family is hosting a party so it should be a good laugh.

Staying in and as usal like most NYE's having a couple of aunt's uncles and cousins around

Staying in with the hubby with lovely food and wine, watching the fireworks from our balcony.

I hate London crowds at the best of times, going out in the NYE madenss would never even cross my mind as a viable option.

I'll be staying in not drinking, hubby should be home in time for midnight. I might be fast asleep on the sofa by then though

The last time I celebrated NYE at a party/club, the queue to get the venue was so long there's no way we would get in before 12am, so we headed off and got into our plan B venue which had loads of music and many rooms but few people and even less atmosphere.
Not one DJ even announced that it was NYD. Plus it was cold, across the other side of the capital and cost quite a bit to get back home safely with the hiked up cab fares.

Lesson learnt, I'm staying in and the money's staying in my pocket. At the most I may go to a local fireworks event that my borough have may set up (they did it last year not sure about this year).
